Alex Lyon G | BUF
Sabres' Alex Lyon: Activated Monday
Lyon (lower body) was taken off injured reserve Monday, per Rachel Lenzi of The Buffalo News.
Josh Norris (ribs) was put on injured reserve in a corresponding move. Lyon has a 10-6-3 record, 2.82 GAA and .906 save percentage in 21 outings in 2025-26. Now that he's healthy, Lyon will resume competing for starts with Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and Colten Ellis. Lyon could be regarded as the No. 1 option, but none of Buffalo's goaltenders are likely to be used as regularly as a typical starter as long as all three are on the active roster.

Connor Ingram G | EDM
Oilers' Connor Ingram: Records 27-save shutout
Ingram posted a 27-save shutout in Sunday's 5-0 win over the Blues.
Ingram picked up his first shutout as an Oiler just a day after Tristan Jarry accomplished the same feat in a road win over Vancouver. The 28-year-old Ingram has gone 3-1-1 over his last five games, allowing just seven goals on 131 shots in that span. For the season, he's up to 5-3-1 with a 2.22 GAA and a .917 save percentage. Ingram is likely looking at a timeshare with Jarry in the near term, though the Oilers also still have Calvin Pickard on the roster for now. Edmonton hosts New Jersey on Tuesday.

Jordan Binnington G | STL
Blues' Jordan Binnington: Gets no help in loss
Binnington stopped 23 of 28 shots in Sunday's 5-0 loss to the Oilers.
The Oilers had a three-goal first period, and the Blues didn't have a response for that. Binnington has lost three straight outings, allowing 15 goals on 87 shots in those contests. Considering Joel Hofer has won his last two starts, Binnington looks to be slipping more firmly into the backup role at this stage of the campaign. Binnington has an 8-13-6 record with a 3.59 GAA and an .869 save percentage over 28 appearances. The Blues' next game is in Winnipeg on Tuesday.

James Reimer G | OTT
Senators' James Reimer: Loses team debut
Reimer stopped 30 of 34 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Red Wings.
This was Reimer's debut for the Senators. He was spotted an early 2-0 lead, but the Red Wings scored the next three goals before Shane Pinto knotted the score at 3-3 late in the second period. Alex DeBrincat got the last laugh, scoring 36 seconds into overtime to spoil Reimer's debut. For now, the 37-year-old goalie is slated to share the crease with Leevi Merilainen until Linus Ullmark (personal) is ready to reclaim the No. 1 job.

John Gibson G | DET
Red Wings' John Gibson: Secures sixth straight win
Gibson stopped 19 of 22 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Senators.
Gibson emerged with his sixth straight win, but this was his worst performance during the streak. The Senators led 2-0 just 5:05 into the game, but the Red Wings were able to bounce back. Alex DeBrincat had the winning goal in overtime to keep Gibson's streak alive. The 32-year-old goalie now has a 19-9-1 record this season, which is his most wins in any of the last six campaigns. He's added a 2.74 GAA and a .902 save percentage over 30 appearances. Look for Gibson and Cam Talbot to split the next two games, as the Red Wings visit the Maple Leafs on Wednesday and the Wild on Thursday.
