The 25-year-old Schmid has a 12-4-5 record, 2.51 GAA and .895 save percentage in 22 appearances in 2025-26. St. Louis ranks 32nd in goals per game with 2.49. The Blues have been outscored 11-5 in two straight losses to fall to 17-20-8 on the season.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Starting Saturday

    Nedeljkovic will patrol the home crease against Dallas on Saturday, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

    Nedeljkovic is coming off a 34-save performance in Tuesday's 5-2 win over Columbus. He has a 6-8-2 record this season with a 3.07 GAA and an .894 save percentage in 19 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign. Dallas ranks third in the league with 3.41 goals per game this season.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: In goal Saturday

Minnesota is 16th in the NHL with 3.11 goals per game.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Tending twine Saturday

    Luukkonen will be between the home pipes versus Anaheim on Saturday, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.

    Luukkonen has won four of his last five starts, allowing 10 goals on 150 shots (.933 save percentage). He is 8-6-1 with a 2.61 GAA and a .903 save percentage over 15 appearances this season. Anaheim is 10th in the NHL this season with 3.25 goals per contest.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Starting in Ottawa

    Bobrovsky will guard the visiting cage in Ottawa on Saturday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

    Bobrovsky has slumped of late, losing four of his last five games while giving up 18 goals on 118 shots (.838 save percentage).   • Senators' Hunter Shepard: Called up from AHL

    Shepard was summoned from AHL Belleville on Saturday.

    Shepard will back up Leevi Merilainen on Saturday versus Florida. Shepard was credited with the loss in his only NHL appearance this season, allowing two goals on 12 shots Monday in relief of Merilainen. The Senators sent Mads Sogaard to AHL Belleville in a corresponding move.
