    Greaves will start Thursday's road game against Vegas, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.

    Greaves is in the midst of a slightly cold stretch in which he's gone 1-2-1 with a 3.00 GAA and .916 save percentage over his last four starts. However, he'll draw an eighth consecutive start in Thursday's matchup. During a home start against the Golden Knights on Dec. 13, he turned aside 23 of 26 shots (.885 save percentage) en route to a 3-2 loss.

    Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Exits ice first

    Hart was the first goalie to leave the ice Thursday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports, indicating he'll get the starting nod at home against the Jackets.

    Since making his debut for the Knights on Dec. 2 against Chicago, Hart has posted a 5-3-3 record, 3.23 GAA and .874 save percentage in his 11 appearances. The 27-year-old netminder should still be capable of reaching the 10-win mark for a fourth consecutive season in which he's been active, and he could still manage to get to 20 victories if he avoids any stints on the shelf due to injury.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Drawing start against Detroit

    Lankinen will defend the road crease against Detroit on Thursday, Olivia McDonald of Canucks Insider reports.

    Lankinen has seen limited playing time over the past few weeks, but he'll draw the start for the fourth time in the Canucks' last 13 games during Thursday's matchup. Across his last three starts -- all of which have gone to overtime -- he's gone 2-0-1 with a 2.77 GAA and .913 save percentage.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Facing Wild

    Grubauer will guard the home net versus Minnesota on Thursday, Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network reports.

    The Kraken have been alternating Grubauer and Joey Daccord over the last nine games, with Thursday's tilt being Grubauer's start in net. Grubauer is 8-3-1 with a 2.21 GAA and a .926 save percentage across 14 games this season, far better than last year's performance, when he posted an 8-17-1 mark with a 3.49 GAA and an .875 save percentage. The Wild are generating 3.11 goals per game, which ranks 14th in the NHL.

  • Islanders' David Rittich: Starting Thursday

    Rittich will patrol the visiting crease in Nashville on Thursday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

    Rittich has been outstanding this season, registering an 11-5-2 record with two shutouts, a 2.48 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 18 appearances. The Predators are 25th in NHL scoring, generating 2.81 goals per game.

  • Oilers' Calvin Pickard: Starting in Winnipeg

    Pickard will patrol the visiting crease in Winnipeg on Thursday, according to Tony Brar of Oilers TV.

    Pickard has been mediocre this season, posting a 4-6-2 record with a 3.73 GAA and an .873 save percentage over 15 games. One of his only outstanding games this season came against the Jets on Dec. 29, when he turned aside 41 shots in a 3-1 victory. The Jets are 0-6-4 in their last 10 games and have fallen to the bottom of the NHL standings.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Guarding cage Thursday

    Wedgewood will be between the home pipes versus Ottawa on Thursday, per Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette.

    Wedgewood will attempt to snap a two-game losing streak, the Avalanche's longest this season. Wedgewood is having a dream season. posting an 18-3-4 record with two shutouts, a 2.20 GAA and a .917 save percentage. Wedgewood already has a career high in victories, besting the 16 he managed during the 2023-24 campaign. The Senators are 11th in NHL scoring, generating 3.19 goals per game.

    Devils' Jake Allen: Between pipes against Pittsburgh

    Allen will start Thursday's road game against the Penguins, Wes Crosby of NHL.com reports.

    Allen has alternated starts with Jacob Markstrom over the past several weeks, and that pattern will continue during the second matchup in a four-game road trip for New Jersey. Across his last five starts, Allen has gone 2-2-1 with a 2.40 GAA and .924 save percentage. During a home start against Pittsburgh on Nov. 8, Allen turned aside 33 of 34 shots (.971 save percentage) in a 2-1 win.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Tending twine Thursday

    Bobrovsky will defend the visiting cage in Montreal on Thursday, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

    Bobrovsky has lost his last two starts, as well as three of his last four appearances. The veteran goaltender is 17-11-1 with three shutouts, a 2.85 GAA and an .885 save percentage. The Canadiens are 7-1-2 in their last 10 matchups and are tied for sixth in NHL scoring with 3.33 goals per game this season.

    Sabres' Colten Ellis: Gets starting nod Thursday

    Ellis will protect the visiting cage against the Rangers on Thursday, according to Rangers' insider Jonny Lazarus.

    Ellis will make his first appearance since Dec. 9, when he suffered a concussion in Edmonton against the Oilers. Ellis is 4-3-0 with a 3.25 GAA and an .895 save percentage across nine starts this season. The Rangers are generating 2.73 goals per game this season, 27th in the NHL.
