Jakub Dobes G | MON
Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Earns win despite subpar outing
Dobes stopped 20 of 25 shots in Thursday's 7-5 win over the Hurricanes.
Dobes was coming off three straight games in which he had posted a save percentage above .900, but that wasn't the case here. Fortunately for him, the 24-year-old still managed to get the win after receiving enough support from the offense in one of the highest-scoring games of the season. Dobes has won three of his last four starts, going 3-0-1 with a 2.45 GAA and an .899 save percentage over that stretch.

Darcy Kuemper G | LA
Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Takes loss in return from injury
Kuemper made 19 saves in a 5-3 loss to Tampa Bay on Thursday.
Kuemper allowed four goals. It was his first start since Dec. 15 because of an upper-body injury. Kuemper's steady play this season for the Kings has earned him a spot on Team Canada for the upcoming Olympics. He will join Jordan Binnington of the Blues and Logan Thompson of the Caps when they head to Italy. Overall, Kuemper is 10-7-6 with two shutouts, a 2.27 GAA and .913 save percentage. Get him back in your fantasy lineup.

Juuse Saros G | NSH
Predators' Juuse Saros: Falls behind early in loss
Saros stopped 19 of 22 shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Kraken. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.
Saros allowed all three goals in the first 10:51 of the game. The 30-year-old netminder was steady after that, but the damage was done, and the Kraken's tight defense didn't let the Predators get back into a competitive spot. Saros has allowed no more than three goals in his last nine outings, going 6-3-0 in that span, though two of those losses have come in his last three games. He's at a 15-13-3 record with a 2.93 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 31 appearances this year, numbers right in line with last year, though he is trending ever so slightly in the right direction. The Predators' next game is Saturday in Calgary.

Philipp Grubauer G | SEA
Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Cruises to win
Grubauer stopped 24 of 25 shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Predators.
Grubauer picked up his third straight win, and he's allowed exactly one goal in each of them. The Kraken gave him an early 3-0 lead to protect, and Grubauer was up to the task. He's now 7-3-1 with a 2.32 GAA and a .920 save percentage over 13 appearances this season, which are his best numbers in a Kraken uniform. He's still in the backup role behind Joey Daccord, but Grubauer has earned a near-even split of the playing time lately. Daccord figures to start Friday in Vancouver, and the two goalies will likely split a back-to-back early next week with a road game in Calgary on Monday followed by a home matchup versus the Bruins on Tuesday.

Jonas Johansson G | TB
Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Second straight win
Johansson made 17 saves in a 5-3 win over the Kings on Thursday.
It was a tight contest, with the Bolts finally netting the go-ahead snipe with just 1:41 left in the final frame. Johansson has won two straight games, allowing seven goals in that span. And he hasn't recorded a save percentage above .892 in his last five starts (3-1-1). Johansson benefits from the team in front of him, not the other way around. He's a spot start only option.

Jake Oettinger G | DAL
Stars' Jake Oettinger: Yields four goals in loss
Oettinger allowed four goals on 21 shots in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Blackhawks.
Oettinger has allowed seven goals on 54 shots over a pair of losses (0-1-1) to the Blackhawks in the last week. The 27-year-old netminder gave up the first two goals on Chicago power plays, and a misplay led to Ilya Mikheyev's decisive tally early in the third period. Oettinger is down to 16-7-3 with a 2.57 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 26 starts this season. He's been sharing the crease with Casey DeSmith lately, though it wouldn't be surprising to see Oettinger between the pipes for Sunday's matinee game against the Canadiens.

Spencer Knight G | CHI
Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Holds on for win
Knight stopped 21 of 24 shots in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Stars.
Knight played better than the final score would suggest, as the Stars were able to score twice at 6-on-5 late in the third period. This was Knight's first win since Dec. 10 versus the Rangers -- he had gone 0-5-1 during a six-game losing streak, though he allowed a passable 17 goals in that span. For the season, the 24-year-old netminder is up to 11-11-6 with a 2.63 GAA and a .909 save percentage over 28 starts. The Blackhawks have a tough back-to-back up next, as they visit the Capitals on Saturday before hosting the Golden Knights on Sunday. Expect Knight and Arvid Soderblom to split those starts.

Eric Comrie G | WPG
Jets' Eric Comrie: Fourth straight loss
Comrie made 24 saves in a 6-5 loss to Toronto on Thursday.
His teammates roared out of the gate and rewarded him with a 4-1 lead. But Auston Matthews woke up and completed his hat trick, and the Leafs notched the win. Comrie last won Dec. 5, and is 0-4-0 with 19 goals allowed in that span. The Jets are 1-6-3 in their last 10 and 0-5-3 in their past eight. They sit last in the NHL. Comrie needs to stay on your bench while the Jets refuel. And that may take some time.

Dennis Hildeby G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Dennis Hildeby: Wins in relief after starter pulled
Hildeby made 17 saves in relief Thursday in a 6-5 win over the Jets.
He replaced starter Joseph Woll, who was pulled after allowing four goals and with the Leafs down 4-1. Hildeby got plenty of support in the comeback win, which snapped a personal 0-3-2 slump. Anthony Stolarz (upper body) resumed skating Wednesday, but there is no timetable for his return. The Leafs are 4-0-1 in their last five games, and they appear to be surging. Hildeby's short-term outlook may be on the cusp of improving.

Joseph Woll G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Allowed four goals before pull
Woll allowed four goals on 17 shots Thursday in a game against Winnipeg before being pulled and replaced by Dennis Hildeby.
At that point early in the second, the Jets were up 4-1, and the Leafs needed a swift kick to get back in the game. It worked. Woll had won three straight games coming into Thursday, including a 4-0, 33-save shutout win over the Devils on Tuesday. This was simply a blip for the Leafs' starter. He'll be fine.
