  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Set to start Monday

Dostal is expected to start at home against San Jose on Monday, per Derek Lee of The Hockey News.

Dostal will attempt to rebound after stopping 24 of 30 shots en route to a 6-1 loss to the Kings in his last start Saturday. He's 13-9-1 with a 3.01 GAA and an .894 save percentage in 23 outings this year. San Jose ranks 18th in goals per game with 3.00.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Guarding home goal

Blackwood is expected to start at home against the Kings on Monday, per Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now.

Blackwood is 11-1-1 with a 2.16 GA and .924 save percentage in 13 appearances this season. He's on a five-game winning streak in which he's allowed 10 goals on 144 shots (.931 save percentage). The Kings rank 29th in goals per game with 2.59.

  • Mammoth's Vitek Vanecek: First off Monday

Vanecek is expected to patrol the home crease against Nashville on Monday after being the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Brogan Houston of Deseret News Sports reports.

Vanecek is coming off a 25-save effort in Tuesday's 1-0 loss to Colorado. He has a 2-8-1 record this season with a 2.81 GAA and an .882 save percentage through 11 appearances. With Karel Vejmelka (upper body) on injured reserve, Matt Villalta will be the backup goalie behind Vanecek for the time being. Nashville is tied for 23rd in the league with 2.78 goals per game this year.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Set to face Boston

Wolf is expected to start at home against Boston on Monday, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.

Wolf has a 12-14-2 record, 2.96 GAA and .897 save percentage in 29 outings this season. He stopped 29 of 31 shots en route to a 3-2 win over Edmonton in his last start Saturday. Boston ranks 14th in goals per game with 3.10.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: In net Monday

Thompson will guard the road goal against Florida on Monday, according to Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post.

Thompson is coming off a 35-save performance in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over New Jersey. He has a 15-9-3 record this season with two shutouts, a 2.27 GAA and a .917 save percentage across 27 appearances. Florida ranks 12th in the league with 3.16 goals per game this campaign.

  • Mammoth's Matt Villalta: Up from minors

Villalta was summoned from AHL Tucson on Monday.

Villalta has a 2.94 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 15 outings with Tucson this season. He's up from the minors because Karel Vejmelka is dealing with an upper-body injury and has been put on injured reserve. Utah hasn't announced its starter for Monday's home game against Nashville, but Villalta will likely serve as Vitek Vanecek's understudy.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Starting in Carolina

Shesterkin will defend the road net against the Hurricanes on Monday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Shesterkin has gone 3-1-0 in his last four outings while allowing only nine goals on 116 shots. He has a 16-12-3 record with one shutout, a 2.51 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 31 appearances this season. Carolina sits fifth in the league with 3.30 goals per game this year.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: On injured reserve

Vejmelka (upper body) was put on injured reserve Monday.

Vejmelka's placement on IR is retroactive to Dec. 23, so he'll miss Monday's home game against Nashville, but he's eligible to be activated ahead of Thursday's road matchup versus the Islanders. The 29-year-old has a 16-10-2 record, 2.70 GAA and .894 save percentage in 29 appearances in 2025-26. Matt Villalta was called up from the minors in a corresponding move.

  • Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Makes 32 saves

Johansson stopped 32 of 36 shots in Sunday's 5-4 shootout win over the Canadiens.

Johansson was unable to lead the Lightning to a win in regulation or overtime, but he stepped up during the shootout and stopped both shots he faced. The 30-year-old netminder has made 16 appearances for Tampa Bay this season, going 8-6-1 with a 2.82 GAA and an .896 save percentage. The 2.82 GAA would be the second-best mark of his nine-year career at the NHL level and his best in a Lightning sweater. His playing time should remain scarce as long as Andrei Vasilevskiy remains healthy and the No. 1 option to defend Tampa Bay's crease.

  • Jacob Fowler G | MON

Canadiens' Jacob Fowler: Tagged with shootout loss

Fowler stopped 18 of 22 shots in Sunday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Lightning.

Fowler has been very inconsistent from game to game, though that's to be expected for a rookie goaltender. Through his six starts, he's gone 3-1-2 with a 2.64 GAA and a .905 save percentage. However, even that number has been up and down. He's posted a save percentage of either at least .920 (three games) or at .850 or below (three games). Fowler should remain as the Canadiens' No. 2 goaltender until Sam Montembeault is able to challenge for more playing time.
