  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Out with injury

Vladar (upper body) is day-to-day and won't be in the lineup for Saturday's road game against the Rangers.

Philadelphia recalled Aleksei Kolosov from AHL Lehigh Valley on Saturday on an emergency basis to serve as Samuel Ersson's backup. Vladar has earned a 12-5-3 record this season with a 2.41 GAA and a .910 save percentage through 20 appearances.

  • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Called up from minors

Kolosov was recalled from AHL Lehigh Valley under emergency conditions on Saturday.

The Flyers need a backup goaltender for Samuel Ersson because Dan Vladar is day-to-day with an upper-body injury. Kolosov has made two appearances at the NHL level this season, going 0-1-0, giving up two goals on 28 shots.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Facing Predators

Woll will be between the visiting pipes in Nashville on Saturday, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.

Woll returned to action Tuesday after missing four games due to a lower-body injury. He has won his last three games, allowing four goals on 75 shots (.947 save percentage). Overall, Woll is 5-3-1 with a 2.39 GAA and a .923 save percentage over nine starts this season. The Predators are 31st in the overall NHL standings and stand 27th in scoring, averaging 2.76 goals per game.

  • Jacob Fowler G | MON

    Canadiens' Jacob Fowler: Starting Saturday

Fowler will patrol the home crease versus Pittsburgh on Saturday, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

Fowler will make his fourth start in his last six games. He is 1-1-1 with a 3.31 GAA and an .885 save percentage. Fowler is considered the Canadiens' goalie of the future, and it appears that he is getting every chance to grab the top spot. The Penguins are 12th in NHL scoring, generating 3.12 goals per game.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Gets starting nod Saturday

Shesterkin will patrol the home crease versus Philadelphia on Saturday, per Vince Z. Mercogliano of The Athletic.

Shesterkin returned to form in St. Louis on Thursday, turning aside 26 shots in a 2-1 overtime win. He had allowed 10 goals on 67 shots in his three previous appearances, going 1-2-0. Overall, Shesterkin is 14-11-3 with a 2.49 GAA and a .910 save percentage across 28 starts this season. The Flyers are generating 2.85 goals per game in 2025-26, 23rd in the NHL.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Facing Red Wings

Thompson will patrol the home crease against Detroit on Saturday, per Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post.

Thompson is coming off a 22-save performance in Thursday's 4-0 shutout win over Toronto. He has a 14-7-3 record with a 2.00 GAA and a .925 save percentage through 24 appearances this season. Detroit is tied for 15th in the league with 3.03 goals per game this campaign.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Beaten three times

Sorokin stopped 26 of 29 shots in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Canucks. The fourth goal was an empty-netter in the third period.

Sorokin has dropped his last two starts, allowing three goals and posting a save percentage below .900 in both. That comes after the 30-year-old Russian netminder went on a five-game winning streak between Dec. 2 and Dec. 13. Sorokin has gone 5-2-0 with a 2.26 GAA and a .928 save percentage in the current month.

  • Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Records third straight win

Demko stopped 22 of 23 shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.

Demko was excellent between the pipes and extended his sizzling run of play. Aside from notching three wins in a row, Demko has also allowed just two goals on 72 shots over that span -- good for an impressive .972 save percentage. He should come down to earth at some point, but Demko is worth riding while he's hot. Kevin Lankinen will play in the second half of Vancouver's back-to-back Saturday at Boston, but Demko could return to the crease in Monday's road game against the Flyers.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Earns win over Carolina

Bobrovsky stopped 26 of 29 shots in Friday's 4-3 shootout win over the Hurricanes.

The veteran goaltender has been on a roll of late and has won each of his last five starts, posting a 2.74 GAA and an .895 save percentage over that stretch. Bobrovsky has also allowed three goals or fewer in each of his past four starts. He's trending in the right direction after posting some inconsistent numbers in previous weeks. Through 24 games, Bobrovsky has gone 15-8-1 with three shutouts, a 2.81 GAA and an .888 save percentage.

  • Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Winning streak ends

Bussi stopped 38 of 41 shots in Friday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Panthers.

Bussi's winning run had to end at some point, although at least the goaltender managed to keep the Hurricanes in the game long enough to force a shootout and claim a point. Bussi has four consecutive games with a save percentage of at least .920, as he continues to perform at a high level between the posts for the Hurricanes, even though he was unable to get the win this time around.
