Jesper Wallstedt G | MIN
Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Set to start Tuesday
Wallstedt will start Tuesday's road game against Edmonton, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Wallstedt has alternated starts with Filip Gustavsson across the past few weeks, and that trend will continue Tuesday. Wallstedt has certainly earned his fair share of playing time, as he's picked up wins in each of his last six starts while posting a 1.14 GAA and .967 during that time, a span that includes three shutout victories.

Spencer Knight G | CHI
Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Gives up three goals
Knight stopped 23 of 26 shots in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Ducks.
Knight didn't have his best performance between the pipes, but at least he managed to get back to winning ways. The 24-year-old has won just two of his last five outings, going 2-2-1 with a 2.62 GAA and a .904 save percentage in that span.

Ville Husso G | ANA
Ducks' Ville Husso: Sees time in relief Sunday
Husso conceded one goal and didn't make a save in his relief appearance in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Blackhawks.
Husso had to enter the game in the third period after Petr Mrazek left the game with an undisclosed injury. He was surrendered a goal on the lone shot he faced -- a wrister from Connor Bedard at the 9:55 mark of the final frame. Husso could be pressed into more playing time if Mrazek is unable to play against the Blues on Monday on the second leg of a back-to-back set, as Lukas Dostal (upper body) was moved to injured reserve Monday.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Allows two goals Sunday
Sorokin stopped 14 of 16 shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Capitals. The last two goals were empty-netters.
Sorokin was beaten twice by Tom Wilson, once in the first period and again in the second. The Islanders pulled one back in the third, but Washington took advantage after Sorokin left for an extra attacker, scoring two late goals. Sorokin has lost in his last three starts, giving up seven goals on 52 shots in that stretch.

Elvis Merzlikins G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Tending twine Monday
Merzlikins will serve as the starting netminder for Monday's road game against New Jersey, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.
Merzlikins has seen limited playing time for the Blue Jackets recently, as Monday's start will be his third in the team's last 12 games. He hasn't been particularly effective in limited action, going 0-4-0 with a 4.30 GAA and .863 save percentage over his last four starts. The Devils are tied for 11th in the NHL with 3.12 goals per game this year.

Nikita Tolopilo G | VAN
Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Travels home Monday
Tolopilo is headed back to Vancouver for personal reasons and will miss Tuesday's road game versus Colorado, Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK reports.
With Tolopilo traveling home for the birth of his child, the Canucks recalled Jiri Patera from the minors, presumably to serve as the No. 2 option behind Kevin Lankinen. The 25-year-old Tolopilo has allowed seven goals on 65 shots while going 1-1-0 over his two NHL games this season. Once Thatcher Demko (lower body) is cleared to play, Tolopilo figures to head back to AHL Abbotsford.

Tristan Jarry G | EDM
Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Starting against Philadelphia
Jarry was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports, indicating that he'll draw the road start against Philadelphia.
Jarry recently returned from a seven-game IR stint due to a lower-body injury. He picked up wins in each of his first two starts upon his return, allowing five goals on 60 shots in those games. However, he struggled in relief against the Maple Leafs on Saturday, allowing three goals on 13 shots (.769 save percentage) in a 7-2 defeat. The Flyers are scoring 2.83 goals per game this season, which is the ninth-worst mark in the league.
-
Logan Thompson G | WAS
Capitals' Logan Thompson: Continues dominant ways
Thompson stopped 30 of 31 shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Islanders.
Thompson was beaten in the third period, courtesy of a goal scored by Bo Horvat on the power play, but other than that, the star goaltender was magnificent once again. Thompson has won his last three starts, allowing just four goals on 76 shots in that span. Thompson is 11-6-1 this season with a 2.08 GAA and a career-best .916 save percentage in 18 games.

Jiri Patera G | VAN
Canucks' Jiri Patera: Called up Monday
Patera was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Monday, Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK reports.
Patera was sent down by the Canucks on Saturday, but he'll rejoin the NHL club after Nikita Tolopilo left the team since his wife is in labor. Patera will likely serve as Kevin Lankinen's backup while Tolopilo is away from the team.

Lukas Dostal G | ANA
Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Moves to IR
Dostal (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Monday, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.
Anaheim recalled Vyacheslav Buteyets from AHL San Diego in a corresponding move. Buteyets will probably serve as Ville Husso's backup in Monday's road game against St. Louis after Petr Mrazek (undisclosed) sustained an injury in Sunday's 5-3 loss to Chicago. Dostal will miss his fourth straight game against the Blues on Monday and could be out until approximately mid-December. However, it remains unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup.
