  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Drawing start in Detroit

Vasilevskiy will defend the road crease Friday against the Red Wings, according to Lightning reporter Gabby Shirley.

Vasilevskiy has posted a phenomenal .970 save percentage and 0.80 GAA during his five-game winning streak, a stretch in which he's allowed a combined four goals on 133 shots. Considering he's at the top of his game, it may be difficult for the Red Wings to come out with a victory Friday -- they've lost three of their last four matchups and are tied for 22nd in the NHL with 2.92 goals per game.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Facing Lightning

Gibson will patrol the home crease against Tampa Bay on Friday, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.

Gibson has struggled since the end of October, going 0-4-1 while allowing 21 goals on 154 shots in his last six appearances. He has a 4-6-1 record with a 3.47 GAA and an .870 save percentage across 12 outings this season. Tampa Bay sits eighth in the league with 3.22 goals per game in the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Starting Friday

Shesterkin will defend the visiting net in Boston on Friday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Shesterkin has won his last two starts, allowing four goals on 59 shots in victories over St. Louis and Carolina. Overall, the 29-year-old is 9-8-2 with a 2.47 GAA and a .911 save percentage. The Bruins are averaging 3.08 goals per game, tied for 16th in the league.

  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Between pipes Friday

Greaves will patrol the home crease versus Pittsburgh on Friday, per Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers.

Greaves will make his ninth start in the past 11 games, as he has taken over the No. 1 job in Columbus from Elvis Merzlikins. Greaves is 7-4-4 with a 2.74 GAA and a .905 save percentage across 15 starts this season. He will face the Penguins, who are generating 3.09 goals per game, tied for 13th in the NHL.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

    Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Starting Saturday

Dobes will guard the road goal against Colorado on Saturday, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

Dobes will get the second half of Montreal's back-to-back after Sam Montembeault plays in Friday's road matchup against Vegas. The 24-year-old Dobes has won his last two outings while stopping 55 of 60 shots. He has earned a record of 8-2-2 with a 2.89 GAA and an .897 save percentage through 12 appearances this season. Colorado leads the league with 4.09 goals per game in 2025-26.

  • Canadiens' Sam Montembeault: Starting in Vegas

Montembeault will defend the road net against the Golden Knights on Friday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

Montembeault has allowed 12 goals on 64 shots in his last four appearances while going 0-2-0 over that span. He has a 4-5-1 record with a 3.72 GAA and an .852 save percentage across 12 appearances this season. Vegas is tied for 13th in the league with 3.09 goals per game during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Hangs on for third straight win

Lindgren turned aside 18 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 win over the Jets.

Washington grabbed a 2-0 lead midway through the first period, and while Winnipeg rallied to tie it early in the second, Lindgren made sure that the Caps' next lead didn't slip away. The veteran netminder has won three straight decisions, going 3-1-1 over six November outings with a 2.81 GAA and .889 save percentage as he tries to work his way into a timeshare with Logan Thompson.

  • Eric Comrie G | WPG

Jets' Eric Comrie: Takes third straight loss

Comrie stopped 30 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Capitals.

It was another mediocre performance from Comrie, who is quickly buckling under the strain of replacing Connor Hellebuyck (knee). Comrie has lost three straight starts, giving up 11 goals on 92 shots (.880 save percentage) during that swoon. The Jets may have little choice but to see whether 22-year-old Thomas Milic, a fifth-round pick in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft who has yet to make his NHL debut, is ready for the spotlight.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Struggles continue Wednesday

Bobrovsky made 14 saves in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Flyers.

The veteran netminder had little chance on any of the pucks that got past him -- two found their way through traffic in front of the net, and two deflected past him. Still, it was a disappointing result after the Panthers had grabbed an early 2-0 lead. Bobrovsky has given up at least four goals in three of his last four outings, and over nine November starts, he's gone 5-4-0 with a shaky 3.43 GAA and .864 save percentage.

  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Hangs on for third straight win

Vladar turned aside 25 shots in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Panthers.

Florida jumped out to a 2-0 lead early in the second period, but Vladar kept his focus and gave his team a chance to rally. The 28-year-old netminder has won three straight starts and has only one regulation loss in his last seven outings, going 5-1-1 during that stretch with a 2.65 GAA and a .902 save percentage.
