  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Concedes twice in relief

Nedeljkovic stopped 21 of 23 shots in relief in Wednesday's 6-0 loss to the Avalanche.

Nedeljkovic had to step into the game in relief after Yaroslav Askarov, who conceded four goals on 19 shots during the first two periods, was pulled. Nedeljkovic has found ways to put up good numbers between the pipes, but he should continue to split the workload with Askarov until further notice. It wouldn't be surprising if Nedeljkovic gets the start against the Canucks on Friday.

  • Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Pulled from Wednesday's game

Askarov was pulled from Wednesday's 6-0 loss to the Avalanche. He was tagged with the loss after allowing four goals on 19 shots before being lifted.

Askarov's three-game winning run ended in a woeful performance against the red-hot Avalanche. Despite the blowout loss, he has done a good job between the pipes for the Sharks in November, so fantasy managers shouldn't overreact to this outing. Askarov has gone 7-2-0 with a 1.87 GAA and a .944 save percentage even after allowing four goals on 19 shots Wednesday, which speaks volumes about the way he's been playing lately.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Losing streak continues Wednesday

Andersen stopped 14 of 17 shots in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers, with New York's final goal getting scored into an empty net.

While the Rangers didn't get a lot of chances, the ones they did get came in high-danger areas, and Andersen couldn't come up with a big save to shift the momentum. The veteran netminder has gone five straight starts without a win, stumbling to a record of 0-3-2 record with a 3.26 GAA and an .849 save percentage. Still, with Pyotr Kochetkov (lower body) potentially set to miss some time, Andersen could be leaned on heavily in the short term by the Hurricanes.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Records second straight shutout

Blackwood posted a 26-save shutout in Wednesday's 6-0 win over the Sharks.

Blackwood earned his second straight shutout after blanking the Predators in a 3-0 win last Saturday. The 28-year-old netminder has won his past four starts while stopping 101 of 108 shots (.935 save percentage) over that stretch. His red-hot play between the pipes should translate to more starts for a Colorado team that sits at the top of the NHL standings thanks to its ongoing 10-game winning streak.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Calms 'Canes in Wednesday's win

Shesterkin made 36 saves in Wednesday's 4-2 win over Carolina.

The 29-year-old was the busier of the two netminders on the night, as the Rangers got outshot 38-18, but Shesterkin was more than up to the challenge. He's allowed more than three goals only twice in 10 November starts, going 6-4-0 with a 2.60 GAA and a .907 save percentage. He could handle an even bigger workload than usual in the short term while Jonathan Quick (lower body) is unavailable.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Gives up four goals Wednesday

Knight stopped 20 of 24 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Wild.

Knight extended his winless skid to three starts, and he's been unable to post a save percentage of at least .890 in two of those games. Knight's role as Chicago's No. 1 goaltender isn't under any threat, but his results have been subpar lately. He's gone 1-2-2 with a 2.79 GAA and a .905 save percentage over his last five starts. That's a significant drop from the 2.59 GAA and .914 save percentage he posted in October.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Earns OT win Wednesday

Gustavsson stopped 34 of 37 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blackhawks.

Gustavsson extended his winning streak to three games with another impressive display against a rising Blackhawks team that featured a red-hot Connor Bedard as its main threat. Gustavsson has been splitting the workload between the pipes with Jesper Wallstedt, who has been excellent of late, but the former is also trending in the right direction. Gustavsson owns a 1.61 GAA and a .938 save percentage during his ongoing winning streak.

  • Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Earns win in return

Jarry stopped 29 of 31 shots in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Sabres.

The 30-year-old netminder made his return to the lineup after missing the last seven games due to a lower-body injury, and he looked composed between the pipes en route to earning the win. Jarry should be the Penguins' No. 1 goaltender as long as he stays healthy. He's won six of his eight outings this season, going 6-2-0 with a 2.53 GAA and a .914 save percentage.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Gives up three goals Wednesday

Luukkonen stopped 15 of 18 shots in Wednesday's 4-2 loss to the Penguins. The fourth goal was an empty-netter with 58 seconds left in the game.

Luukkonen was coming off wins in his previous two outings against the Blackhawks and Hurricanes, a stretch in which he made 49 saves on 53 shots. Given that this was the first time Luukkonen has made three starts in a row this season, it wouldn't be surprising if he gets a day off sooner rather than later. The Sabres' next game is scheduled for Friday at home against the Devils.

  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Tagged with OT loss

Greaves stopped 22 of 24 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Maple Leafs.

Greaves was outstanding in the first two periods but allowed two goals after the Blue Jackets opened the scoring. He has lost two straight overtime contests and has three defeats in his last five starts, but the numbers are better than the record might indicate. It's worth noting he hasn't lost a game in regulation since Nov. 5, going 4-0-4 with a 2.60 GAA and a .903 save percentage over his last eight outings.
