    Daccord returned from a five-game absence last week, and Wednesday's start will be his fourth in the Kraken's past five games. Across three outings since returning, he's gone 1-1-1 with a 1.63 GAA and a .940 save percentage.

    Ducks' Petr Mrazek: Set to face Vancouver

    Dostal will miss Wednesday's matchup with Vancouver due to an upper-body injury and is considered day-to-day.

    Dostal has featured in 17 of the Ducks' 22 games this year, but will now have to sit out for at least one outing. He has posted a record of 11-5-1 with a .904 save percentage and a 2.81 GAA. With Dostal on the shelf, Petr Mrazek will get the nod at home versus Vancouver, while Ville Husso will be called up from the minors to serve as the backup.

    Husso hasn't appeared in a game for the Ducks yet this season. However, he will serve as Petr Mrazek's backup during Wednesday's game against Vancouver because Lukas Dostal is unavailable due to an upper-body injury. Husso will likely head back to the minors once Dostal, who is day-to-day, is ready to return.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Expected to start Wednesday

    Vejmelka is slated to start at home against Montreal on Wednesday, per Cole Bagley of KSL Sports.

He'll have a favorable matchup in his attempt to get back on track, as Minnesota is tied for the eighth-worst mark in the league with 2.87 goals per game this year.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Slated to face San Jose

    Blackwood is slated to start at home against San Jose on Wednesday, per Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette.

    Blackwood has won his past three games while stopping 82 of 89 shots (.921 save percentage). That includes a 35-save shutout over Nashville in his last start Saturday. San Jose is tied for 22nd in goals per game with 2.91.

    Gustavsson has lost out on some playing time recently, as he's started in just three of Minnesota's last eight games due to the red-hot play of Jesper Wallstedt. Across his past three outings, Gustavsson has gone 2-0-1 with a 1.28 GAA and a .935 save percentage.
