Eric Comrie G | WPG
Jets' Eric Comrie: Patrolling crease versus Caps
Comrie will be in goal on the road versus Washington on Wednesday, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.
Comrie will be making his fourth straight appearance in the crease, having gone 1-2-0 with a 3.02 GAA in his last three outings. It figures to be a busy run of games for the 30-year-old Edmonton native, as starter Connor Hellebuyck is out 4-6 weeks with a knee injury. A back-to-back against the Hurricanes and Predators on Friday and Saturday, respectively, will likely see Thomas Milic make his NHL debut.

Dan Vladar G | PHI
Flyers' Dan Vladar: Guarding cage versus Cats
Vladar will patrol the road crease against Florida on Wednesday.
Vladar will be making his 14th appearance of the season for the Flyers, having gone 8-4-1 with a career-best 2.42 GAA in 13 contests. While the 28-year-old Czech figures to continue seeing the bulk of the workload for Philadelphia this year, he likely will split an upcoming back-to-back against the Islanders and Devils on Friday and Saturday, respectively, with Samuel Ersson.

Igor Shesterkin G | NYR
Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Defending road crease Wednesday
Shesterkin will start Wednesday's road game against Carolina, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
Shesterkin returned to the win column Monday against St. Louis, and he's now gone 4-2-0 with a 2.66 GAA and a .908 save percentage over his last six appearances. He made a home start against the Hurricanes on Nov. 4, allowing two goals on 31 shots (.935 save percentage) in a 3-0 loss.

Jacob Markstrom G | NJ
Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Drawing start against St. Louis
Markstrom will start Wednesday's home game against the Blues, Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site reports.
Markstrom has split time in the crease recently, but he'll draw a second consecutive start Wednesday. Across six outings in November, he's gone 4-1-1 with a 2.98 GAA and an .895 save percentage. The Blues are scoring just 2.65 goals per game this season, which is tied for the fifth-worst mark in the league.

Tristan Jarry G | EDM
Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Guarding cage versus Sabres
Jarry (lower body) will guard the cage for Wednesday's home clash with Buffalo, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports.
Jarry returns following a seven-game stint on injured reserve due to his lower-body problem. In his seven outings this year, the 30-year-old netminder is sporting a 5-2-0 record to go with a .911 save percentage and one shutout. With Jarry coming off IR, look for the Penguins to send youngster Sergei Murashov back to the minors.

Jeremy Swayman G | BOS
Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Between pipes against Isles
Swayman will tend the twine on the road versus the Islanders on Wednesday, Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe reports.
Swayman will be making his third consecutive appearance in the crease for the first time this year, having played just about two out of every three games to open the year. The change is likely related to an upcoming back-to-back versus the Rangers and Red Wings on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Look for Swayman to split those contests with Joonas Korpisalo.

Sergei Bobrovsky G | FLA
Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Set to face Philadelphia
Bobrovsky is set to start at home against Philadelphia on Wednesday, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.
Bobrovsky will look to get back into the win column after surrendering four goals on 17 shots en route to a 6-3 loss to Edmonton on Saturday. He's 10-6-0 with a 2.80 GAA and an .887 save percentage in 16 outings this year. The Flyers are 11-7-3 and rank 26th in goals per game with 2.67.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: First goalie off Wednesday
Sorokin was the first goalie off during Wednesday's morning skate, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports, indicating that he'll draw the home start against the Bruins.
Sorokin has been solid over the past few weeks, going 4-2-0 with a 1.67 GAA and a .943 save percentage across his last six outings. In two previous starts against the Bruins this year, he has gone 0-1-1 with a 3.39 GAA and an .854 save percentage.
-
Charlie Lindgren G | WAS
Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: First goalie off Wednesday
Lindgren was the first goalie to leave the ice Wednesday, Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post reports, indicating he'll be between the home pipes versus the Jets.
Lindgren's 2025-26 campaign has been middling at best, as he has posted a 3-3-1 record, 3.14 GAA and one shutout in eight appearances. Given his decreased workload to open the year, the 31-year-old backstop could miss the 20-win threshold for the first time since 2022-23. Perhaps a strong outing or two by Lindgren will force the Caps to go back to a split share in the crease.

Jet Greaves G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Tending twine Wednesday
Greaves will defend the home crease against the Maple Leafs on Wednesday, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.
Greaves got the night off in Monday's loss to the Capitals, but he'll return to the crease Wednesday for the eighth time in the Blue Jackets' last 10 games. He's been solid over his last seven starts, going 4-0-3 with a 2.71 GAA and a .901 save percentage. He faced Toronto on the road last Friday and turned aside 27 of 29 shots (.931 save percentage) en route to a 3-2 overtime victory.
