  • Predators' Justus Annunen: First goalie off Thursday

Annunen was the first goalie to leave the ice Thursday, Alex Daugherty of The Tennessean reports, indicating he'll patrol the crease at home versus the Devils.

Annunen allowed just two goals on 66 combined shots over his last two outings, securing victories over the Golden Knights and the Kraken. With the Predators clinging to a wild-card spot, they likely will ride the hot hand and continue to give Annunen plenty of opportunities down the stretch.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Between pipes against Tampa Bay

Grubauer will tend the twine on the road versus the Lightning on Thursday, Sound of Hockey reports.

Grubauer will get the start after having watched the last three games from the bench. In his last six appearances, the backstop has managed just one win while posting a 1-4-0 record and 3.62 GAA. Look for Joey Daccord to continue to see the bulk of the workload down the stretch.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: In goal Thursday

Hofer will get the starting nod at home against the Sharks on Thursday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Hofer is coming off a 21-save shutout performance against the Capitals on Tuesday, so it shouldn't come as a surprise to see him getting the start again. The 25-year-old backstop has gone eight games without suffering a regulation loss, posting a 6-0-2 record, 1.34 GAA and two shutouts. Looking ahead to next season, Hofer figures to enter the year as the No. 1 netminder in St. Louis.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Starting Thursday

Ullmark will tend the home twine versus Pittsburgh on Thursday, according to TSN 1200 Ottawa.

Ullmark has won four of his last five starts. He is 23-10-7 with a 2.75 GAA and an .887 save percentage over 41 outings in 2025-26. The Penguins are seventh in league scoring, generating 3.39 goals per game.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Facing Avalanche

Hellebuyck will defend the home net versus the Avalanche on Thursday, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Hellebuyck snapped a three-game winless streak Tuesday, turning aside 26 shots in a 4-1 victory over Vegas. Hellebuyck is 18-19-11 with nary a shutout this season, a 2.81 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 48 appearances. The Avalanche lead the NHL in scoring this season, scoring 3.71 goals per game.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Expected to start Thursday

Vasilevskiy is slated to defend the home net versus Seattle on Thursday, according to Erik Erlendsson of LightningInsider.com.

Vasilevskiy is riding a four-game winning streak, allowing nine goals on 90 shots, as the Lightning have been tightening their defense. Vasilevskiy is 34-12-3 with a 2.30 GAA and a .912 save percentage across 49 starts this season. The Kraken are generating 2.84 goals per game this season, 23rd in the NHL.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

    Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Facing Stars

Sorokin will be between the home pipes versus Dallas on Thursday, per Stephen Whyno of the Associated Press.

Sorokin leads the NHL with seven shutouts, including one Monday when he turned aside 26 shots in a 1-0 win over Columbus. Sorokin is 26-18-2 with a 2.52 GAA and a .913 save percentage over 46 outings in 2025-26. The Stars are second in the NHL with 97 points and are producing 3.37 goals per game, eighth in the league this season.

  • Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Starting Thursday

Tarasov will guard the home cage versus Minnesota on Thursday, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

Tarasov has allowed 10 goals on 61 shots (.836 save percentage) in his last two starts, both road losses. He returns home Thursday, where he is 5-3-2 with a 2.46 GAA and a .915 save percentage in 11 contests. Overall, Tarasov is 9-12-2 with a 3.01 GAA and an .896 save percentage in 24 games this season. The Wild are generating 3.22 goals per game in 2025-26, 12th in the NHL.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Falters in overtime loss

Luukkonen allowed four goals on 31 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Bruins.

Luukkonen has mostly been pretty good lately, but this was far from his best work. He allowed a goal in each period in regulation and ceded the decisive tally to Pavel Zacha just 38 seconds into the extra session. Luukkonen has gone 6-1-1 over his last eight outings, and he's at 17-8-3 on the year with a 2.60 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 29 appearances. With the Sabres deploying a strict goalie rotation since the Olympic break, expect Alex Lyon to get the nod versus the Red Wings on Friday before Luukkonen returns to the crease Saturday versus the Kraken.

  • Bruins' Joonas Korpisalo: Picks up overtime win

Korpisalo stopped 22 of 25 shots in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Sabres.

Korpisalo had a lapse in the third period, giving up goals to Zach Benson and Jason Zucker just 33 seconds apart. The Bruins bounced back and won it on a Pavel Zacha tally 38 seconds into overtime. Korpisalo picked up just his second win in his last six outings, and he was under a .900 save percentage for the fifth time in that span despite the victory. For the season, the Finnish netminder is at a 12-9-4 record with a 3.28 GAA and an .891 save percentage over 27 appearances. The Bruins have a back-to-back over the weekend, hosting the Wild on Saturday before visiting the Blue Jackets on Sunday. Expect Korpisalo to split those starts with Jeremy Swayman, but with the Bruins in the thick of the playoff race, Swayman might get doubled up in one or more of the team's last three back-to-back sets this season.
