Arvid Soderblom G | CHI
Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Concedes twice in win
Soderblom stopped 19 of 21 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Flames.
Soderblom took advantage of a favorable matchup against a Flames team that has struggled to score this season, and his teammates provided plenty of offensive support. Soderblom has gone 3-2-1 this season but seems to be on the rise after posting a save percentage of .905 or higher in three of his last four outings.

Vitek Vanecek G | UTA
Mammoth's Vitek Vanecek: Falls to Sharks in overtime
Vanecek allowed three goals on 22 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Sharks.
Vanecek has lost his last three outings, going 0-2-1 with 11 goals allowed on 65 shots in that span. The 29-year-old netminder is now at a 2-3-1 record with a 2.85 GAA and an .873 save percentage in six starts this season. The Mammoth's tight defense, which is allowing a league-best 23.6 shots per game, has made things easier on the goalies, but Vanecek's performance hasn't been all that good, even with the light workloads. Look for Karel Vejmelka to get the start Thursday at home versus the Golden Knights.

Yaroslav Askarov G | SJ
Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Wins in overtime
Askarov stopped 24 of 26 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Mammoth.
Askarov allowed more than one goal for the first time in five outings, but Macklin Celebrini's hat trick lifted the Sharks to the win. Askarov has taken leaps forward this year alongside the rest of the young Sharks, and he's played his way into being a reliable fantasy goalie. The 23-year-old is at 6-5-1 with a 2.99 GAA and a .907 save percentage through 12 starts. The Sharks will get a firm test in their next game, which is at home versus the Kings on Thursday.

Igor Shesterkin G | NYR
Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Loses to Golden Knights
Shesterkin stopped 23 of 26 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Golden Knights.
Vegas cashed in on both of its power-play opportunities, and that made the difference here. Shesterkin's three-game winning streak is over, and he's allowed at least three goals in four of his last five outings. The 29-year-old is now 7-7-2 with a 2.43 GAA and a .911 save percentage over 16 appearances this season. The Rangers have an even tougher matchup ahead as they visit the Avalanche on Thursday.
-
Akira Schmid G | LV
Golden Knights' Akira Schmid: Gets win over Rangers
Schmid stopped 17 of 19 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Schmid didn't face a lot of traffic, and the Golden Knights never faced a deficit in this contest. This was Schmid's second straight win, and he's 4-0-2 over his last six outings. He's yet to have a game where he's faced 30 shots, as the Vegas defense is keeping things easy on him. For the season, the Swiss netminder is 8-1-2 with a 2.45 GAA and an .899 save percentage across 11 appearances. The Golden Knights begin a three-game road trip Thursday in Utah.

Vitek Vanecek G | UTA
Mammoth's Vitek Vanecek: Starting in San Jose
Vanecek will guard the road goal versus the Sharks on Tuesday, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Vanecek will get the second half of a back-to-back after Karel Vejmelka took a 3-2 overtime loss versus the Ducks on Monday. Vanecek is in a bit of a rut, having lost his last two outings with a total of eight goals allowed on 43 shots.

Arvid Soderblom G | CHI
Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Getting start versus Flames
Soderblom will protect the home goal versus the Flames on Tuesday, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.
The Blackhawks have kept Soderblom from sitting too long this season, as he's yet to go more than three games between appearances. He's 2-2-1 with a 2.63 GAA and a .913 save percentage over five games. The Flames have scored just 12 goals over their last six contests, going 2-3-1 in that span, and they continue to have the worst offense in the league.

Eric Comrie G | WPG
Jets' Eric Comrie: Tending twine Tuesday
Comrie will patrol the home crease against Columbus on Tuesday.
Comrie has a 3-1-0 record this season while surrendering 11 goals on 119 shots. The Blue Jackets earned a 4-3 shootout win over Montreal on Monday, and Columbus is tied for 19th in the league with 3.00 goals per game this campaign.
-
Jacob Markstrom G | NJ
Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Receiving starting nod
Markstrom will protect the road goal versus the Lightning on Tuesday, Sam Kasan of the Devils' official site reports.
Markstrom is 3-1-1 over his last five games, and he's allowed three goals in each of his last three outings. The Lightning have just one win in their last four games, scoring 11 goals in that span, which gives Markstrom a decent matchup for this contest.

Cam Talbot G | DET
Red Wings' Cam Talbot: In goal Tuesday
Talbot will guard the home goal versus the Kraken on Tuesday, Michael Whitaker of The Hockey News reports.
Talbot will make consecutive starts for the first time since Oct. 11-15. The Red Wings had been alternating goalies, but Talbot has gone 4-1-0 over his last five games while allowing just 11 goals in that span. The Kraken are a bit of a tough matchup, having won three of their last five games with 15 goals scored in that span.
