  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Set to start Monday

Dobes will tend the goal for Monday's game against the Blue Jackets, Stu Cowan of The Montreal Gazette reports Sunday.

Dobes was pulled from his last start against the Stars early, allowing five goals on just 13 shots. He'll get the chance to rebound Monday against the Blue Jackets and try to find his early-season form. The 24-year-old allowed two goals or fewer in each of his first four starts, but he has allowed three or more in every start since then. He carries a 6-1-1 record, 2.70 GAA and a .901 save percentage into Monday's matchup.

  • Kings' Anton Forsberg: Posts shutout against former team

Forsberg stopped all 17 shots he faced in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Senators.

Forsberg blanked his former team by making all of his saves at even strength en route to his first shutout of the season. Overall, the 32-year-old twine protector has a 3-2-1 record with a 2.96 GAA and an .890 save percentage across six starts this season. While he's allowed three goals or more in four of his six appearances this year, Saturday's shutout could give him a few extra opportunities moving forward. For now, Forsberg's best used as a spot fantasy starter in favorable matchups.

  • Jake Allen G | NJ

Devils' Jake Allen: Earns win over Washington

Allen stopped 29 of 31 shots in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Capitals.

Allen was beaten twice in the third period, once by Connor McMichael and once by Alex Ovechkin, but he came through in the shootout by stopping three of Washington's four shots. Allen has been alternating between the pipes with Jacob Markstrom, but the former has been productive of late with four wins over his last six appearances. The 35-year-old Allen has gone 4-2-0 with a 2.43 GAA and a .907 save percentage in that span.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Inconsistent ways continue

Thompson stopped 29 of 31 shots in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Devils.

Thompson has made four straight starts and seems to have a firm grip on the starting role between the pipes in Washington. However, the 28-year-old has been wildly inconsistent in that span. Thompson has gone 1-2-1 with a 2.72 GAA and an .899 save percentage over those four games while recording a save percentage of .850 or lower twice over that stretch. Washington's next game is Monday against the Kings, but given that this streak of four straight starts is Thompson's longest of the season, it wouldn't be surprising if he's given some rest soon.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Allows one goal in loss

Ullmark made 17 saves on 18 shots in Saturday's 1-0 loss to the Kings.

Outside of a first-period tally from Alex Laferriere, Ullmark helped keep the Senators in striking distance during Saturday's low-scoring affair. The 32-year-old netminder has a 6-5-4 record with a 3.08 GAA and an .874 save percentage across 15 games this year. With only one win in his last five appearances, Ullmark has taken a step back in his second season with the Senators. Saturday's performance was a step in the right direction, but until Ullmark can bring his save percentage back near .900 and start to find the win column with more consistency, he is a tough option to trust in fantasy. His next opportunity to guard the crease is Thursday in Anaheim.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Beaten five times Saturday

Gibson stopped 22 of 27 shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Sabres.

Gibson looked on pace to secure the win when the Red Wings were leading 4-1 late in the second period, but he gave up four unanswered goals en route to another loss. He hasn't won in any of his past five starts, going 0-3-1 with a 3.46 GAA and an .875 save percentage over that span. Gibson's last win came against the Blues on Oct. 28. He's unlikely to get the starting nod Sunday on the road against the Rangers as the Red Wings wrap up a back-to-back set.

  • Colten Ellis G | BUF

Sabres' Colten Ellis: Earns OT win Saturday

Ellis stopped 24 of 28 shots in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Red Wings.

Ellis has won two of his three starts this season, but he's allowed at least four goals in his two outings this month. With an .895 save percentage in his three appearances, and still in a competition with Alex Lyon and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen for the goaltending job, it's hard to trust Ellis in most fantasy formats. It's unclear when he'll play again, but the Sabres' next game is scheduled for Monday at home against the Oilers.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Makes 31 saves Saturday

Knight stopped 31 of 33 shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Maple Leafs.

Knight hasn't lost in regulation in any of his past five starts, going 3-0-2 with a 2.16 GAA and an impressive .938 save percentage in that span. The 24-year-old goaltender is having a strong campaign and should remain a reliable fantasy option across all formats. He's posted a save percentage of .935 or higher in four of his last five appearances.

  • Joseph Woll G | TOR

Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Gives up three goals

Woll stopped 29 of 32 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Blackhawks.

Woll was making his season debut Saturday after being away from the team for personal reasons. While he wasn't particularly bad in this game and didn't have any blame for the goals he conceded, the offense didn't provide him enough support. Woll's next chance to earn his first win of the campaign will come Tuesday against the Blues at home. He's the top healthy goaltender for the Maple Leafs with Anthony Stolarz (upper body) on IR for at least one more game.

  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Bright spot in loss

Greaves made 31 saves on 32 shots in Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to the Rangers.

Despite the loss, Greaves picked up second star of the game honors for his strong performance, allowing just one power-play goal in the second period prior to giving up a pair of successful shootout attempts. Across 11 games this season, the 24-year-old netminder has a 5-4-2 record with a 2.80 GAA and a .904 save percentage. After alternating starts with Elvis Merzlikins to begin the season, Greaves has started each of the last four contests. Greaves has been hit-or-miss in that stretch, twice allowing one goal or fewer and twice surrendering four or more. The ascendant Greaves is a solid stash in standard formats and has the volume to start in deeper fantasy leagues. His next chance to start is Monday against Montreal.
