  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Set to face Edmonton

    Andersen (concussion) is expected to start at home against Edmonton on Saturday, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.

    Andersen didn't dress in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over Vancouver after being pulled from Tuesday's 4-1 loss to Washington by the concussion spotter. The 36-year-old netminder has a 5-4-0 record, 3.00 GAA and .892 save percentage in nine outings this year. Edmonton has been a mixed bag with an 8-7-4 record and 3.05 goals per game, but Zach Hyman (wrist) will make his season debut against the Hurricanes on Saturday.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Facing Panthers

    Vasilevskiy will guard the road goal against Florida on Saturday, according to Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times.

    Vasilevskiy surrendered five goals on 13 shots in Wednesday's 7-3 loss to the Rangers before getting the hook. He has a 5-5-2 record with a 2.92 GAA and an .892 save percentage through 12 appearances this season. Florida ranks 25th in the league with 2.82 goals per game this campaign.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Expected to start Saturday

    Bobrovsky is set to start at home against Tampa Bay on Saturday, Rob Darragh of the Panthers' official site reports.

    Bobrovsky stopped 30 of 32 shots en route to a 3-2 victory over Vegas on Monday. He's 8-4-0 with a 2.68 GAA and an .893 save percentage in 12 outings this year. Tampa Bay has been a challenging adversary since Oct. 25, going 7-2-0 while averaging 3.44 goals per game across its past nine games.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Starting in Seattle

    Nedeljkovic will defend the road net against the Kraken on Saturday, per Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.

    During his last outing, Nedeljkovic made 32 saves in a 2-1 win over Winnipeg on Nov. 7. He has a 3-2-2 record this season while allowing 21 goals on 224 shots. Seattle sits 30th in the league with 2.65 goals per game this campaign.

  • Golden Knights' Akira Schmid: Expected to face St. Louis

    Schmid is slated to start on the road against St. Louis on Saturday, per Lou Korac of The Hockey News.

    Schmid will look to get back into the win column after going 0-0-2 while allowing eight goals on 53 shots (.849 save percentage) across his last two starts. He's 6-1-2 with a 2.67 GAA and an .894 save percentage in nine outings this season. The Blues are 6-8-4 and rank 22nd in goals per game with 2.89.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Moves to IR

    Stolarz (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.

    Stolarz will miss at least the next two games, starting with Saturday's road game versus Chicago, after landing on the IR list. He is day-to-day, but it's unclear when he will be ready to return. The 31-year-old netminder has a 6-5-1 record with a 3.51 GAA and an .884 save percentage through 13 appearances this season. Joseph Woll and Dennis Hildeby could share starts until Stolarz is available to resume playing.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Slated to start

    Hellebuyck is expected to guard the road goal against Calgary on Saturday, according to Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.

    Hellebuyck made 13 saves on 17 shots in a 5-3 loss to Seattle on Thursday, with the fifth goal being an empty-netter. He has a 7-6-0 record with a 2.49 GAA and a .914 save percentage through 13 appearances this season. Calgary sits 32nd in the league with only 2.05 goals per game this campaign.

  • Matt Murray G | SEA

    Kraken's Matt Murray: First off ice Saturday

    Murray will patrol the home crease versus San Jose on Saturday, according to Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network.

    Murray has played well for the Kraken in a limited role. He is 0-2-1 with a 2.13 GAA and a .926 save percentage in four appearances this season. The Sharks are averaging 3.06 goals per game, a huge increase from last season, when they were 32nd in the NHL, averaging only 2.54 goals per contest.

    Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Sent to AHL for conditioning

    Hart (suspension) was assigned to AHL Henderson on Saturday for a conditioning loan.

    Hart isn't eligible to play for Vegas until December, but he can begin to get himself back into game shape in the minors. Adin Hill (lower body) moved to injured reserve ahead of Saturday's road matchup against St. Louis. Assuming they are both healthy, Hart and Hill will probably compete for starts with the Golden Knights. Vegas currently has Akira Schmid and Carl Lindbom as the top two netminders on the roster.

    Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Placed on injured reserve

    Hill (lower body) was put on injured reserve Saturday, JR Pothier and Ken Boehlke of SinBin.vegas reports.

    Hill has been out of action since Oct. 20 after he was injured early in a 4-1 win over Carolina. Hill could return at any time. He is 1-0-2 with a 2.73 GAA and an .888 save percentage across five appearances this season.
