  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Hurt in first period Tuesday

Stolarz (upper body) was injured in Tuesday's game versus the Bruins and won't return.

Stolarz allowed three goals on 10 shots in the first period and didn't return for the second. The goalie's injury comes at a rough time for the Maple Leafs, who are trying to allow Joseph Woll (personal) to get up to speed on a conditioning stint with AHL Toronto. Should Stolarz miss additional time, Dennis Hildeby figures to be the team's top option in goal.

  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Starting in Seattle

Greaves will start on the road versus the Kraken on Tuesday, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

Not only will the Blue Jackets break the goalie rotation, but Greaves will be starting for the second consecutive day as well. That could indicate some kind of concern with Elvis Merzlikins, though head coach Dean Evason didn't specify anything in his pregame comments. Greaves has given up goals on 49 shots over his last two starts.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Not starting after all

Nedeljkovic won't start Tuesday on the road versus the Wild as previously expected, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Nedeljkovic was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, but Yaroslav Askarov led the Sharks onto the ice in warmups. The Sharks have been alternating goalies, and this would be Nedeljkovic's usual turn for a start. The 29-year-old netminder was on the ice for warmups as well, so it's not immediately clear why the Sharks changed plans.

  • Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Tending twine Tuesday

Askarov will defend the road net against Minnesota on Tuesday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Askarov is coming off a 38-save performance in Saturday's 3-1 win over Florida. He has won three straight outings to improve to 4-4-1 this season while surrendering 32 goals on 287 shots. Minnesota ranks 20th in the league with 2.88 goals per game this campaign.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Slated to start

Hellebuyck is expected to guard the road goal against Vancouver on Tuesday, according to Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.

Hellebuyck is coming off a 25-save effort in Friday's 2-1 loss to San Jose. He has a 6-5-0 record with a 2.30 GAA and a .922 save percentage through 11 appearances this season. Vancouver ranks 21st in the league with 2.82 goals per game this campaign.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Starting in high-powered matchup

Dostal will patrol the visiting crease versus Colorado on Tuesday, Bailey Curtis of DNVR Sports reports.

Dostal is rolling to the tune of six straight wins, but he'll face his toughest task yet against the league's top team Tuesday. The Avalanche have lost just once in regulation through 16 games, and they sit second in the NHL with 4.00 goals per game. The Ducks rank first in the league in goals per game (4.13), so this could be a high-scoring affair. Dostal is also 0-2-2 with a 4.89 GAA and an .873 save percentage across four career appearances against Colorado, so it's reasonable for fantasy managers to avoid Dostal in this matchup given these circumstances.

  • Canucks' Thatcher Demko: Back in action Tuesday

Demko (undisclosed) is scheduled to serve as the starting goaltender for Tuesday's home matchup against the Jets, per Ben Kuzma of Postmedia.

Demko will return to the crease after a short-term absence due to an undisclosed injury. The 2014 second-round pick has a 5-4-0 record, 2.57 GAA and .912 save percentage over nine outings this season. The Jets have faltered lately, losing three consecutive games while netting a total of just two goals during their road trip out west. Demko is 6-7-0 with a .925 save percentage and a 2.35 GAA across 13 career appearances versus Winnipeg.

  • Matt Murray G | SEA

Kraken's Matt Murray: Patrolling home blue paint Tuesday

Murray was the first goaltender off at morning skate, according to Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network, which indicates he will draw the start at home against the Blue Jackets on Tuesday.

Murray turned in a respectable showing Sunday against Dallas, stopping 23 of 25 shots, but his team provided him with just one goal en route to a 2-1 loss. If Murray continues to perform admirably, he could be the de facto No. 1 option over Philipp Grubauer while Joey Daccord is on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury. The Blue Jackets are coming off a 5-4 overtime loss in Edmonton on Monday, so the Kraken have the rest advantage Tuesday.

  • Canadiens' Alexis Cournoyer: Claims ECAC weekly honors

Cournoyer was named the ECAC Rookie of the Week on Monday.

Cournoyer stopped 54 of 57 shots over two games in Cornell University's 3-1 win Friday over Harvard University and a 2-1 loss to Dartmouth College on Saturday. He is 2-1-0 on the season and should continue to see a hefty workload for Cornell in his freshman year after leaving the QMJHL following 2024-25. Cournoyer is a Canadiens prospect, drafted 145th overall in 2025.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Set to start at home

Andersen will be between the home pipes Tuesday versus the Capitals, per Walt Ruff and Peter Dewar of the Hurricanes' official site.

Andersen hasn't been at the top of his game lately, registering a 2-3-0 record, 3.39 GAA and .889 save percentage across his last five appearances. The Capitals have lost back-to-back contests and six of their last seven, so this could be a favorable matchup for Andersen. Washington also ranks 22nd in the NHL with 2.80 goals per game in 2025-26.
