  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Drawing road start Thursday

Ullmark will tend the twine on the road against Boston on Thursday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.

Ullmark has had an inconsistent start to the 2025-26 campaign, but he'll draw a fourth consecutive start during Thursday's road matchup. He's gone 1-1-1 with a 4.20 GAA and .840 save percentage over his last three outings and will face a Bruins squad that has averaged 3.20 goals this year, ranking 14th in the NHL.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Tending twine Thursday

Oettinger will start Thursday's home game against the Ducks, Brien Rea of Victory+ reports.

Oettinger didn't appear in either of the Stars' last two games, but he'll return to the crease Thursday. The 26-year-old has had a solid start to the 2025-26 campaign, going 5-2-2 with a 2.54 GAA and .913 save percentage over nine appearances.

  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Between pipes Thursday

Markstrom will defend the home net versus Montreal on Thursday, according to Kristy Flannery of The Hockey News.

Markstrom had a tough first four games of the season, going 2-2-0 with a 5.13 GAA and an .830 save percentage. However, the 35-year-old netminder was outstanding Saturday in Los Angeles, stopping 43 shots in a 4-1 victory. The Canadiens are third in NHL scoring, averaging 3.69 goals per game.

  • Bruins' Joonas Korpisalo: Starting against Ottawa

Korpisalo will defend the home crease against the Senators on Thursday, Joe Haggerty of Boston Sports Journal reports.

Korpisalo has picked up wins in each of his last two starts, posting a 2.46 GAA and .933 save percentage during that time. He'll face a tough test against the Senators, who are averaging 3.54 goals this season, which is tied for the sixth-best mark in the league.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Slated to start Thursday

Lindgren is expected to be between the visiting pipes in Pittsburgh on Thursday, per Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post.

Logan Thompson picked up the start Wednesday against the Blues, putting Lindgren in line for Thursday's start. Lindgren is 1-2-1 with one shutout, a 3.47 GAA and an .880 save percentage this season. The Penguins are eighth in NHL scoring, averaging 3.50 goals per game.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Exits ice first Thursday

Silovs was the first goalie off the ice ahead of Thursday's clash with the Capitals, Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site reports, indicating he'll be in goal at home.

Silovs should see the bulk of the workload while Tristan Jarry (lower body) is on the shelf, though with a back-to-back against the Devils and Kings on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, youngster Sergei Murashov will get an early look after being recalled from the minors Tuesday. How the Penguins deploy the duo could be impacted by how well, or not, Murashov adjusts to the NHL tempo. For now, fantasy managers can expect Silovs to get most of the starts, but he is likely on a short leash with the presumptive goalie-of-the-future right behind him.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: Cruises to sixth win

Thompson made 23 saves in Wednesday's 6-1 win over the Blues.

The 28-year-old netminder took a shutout and a four-goal lead into the third period, but Alexei Toropchenko spoiled the former with a greasy shorthanded tally just 37 seconds into the final frame. Thompson has yet to allow more than two goals in a start this season, going 6-3-0 through nine outings with a dazzling 1.45 GAA and .938 save percentage.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Needed in relief Wednesday

Hofer turned aside 15 of 17 shots after replacing Jordan Binnington midway through the second period of Wednesday's 6-1 loss to the Capitals.

Neither goalie was particularly sharp, but Hofer posted slightly better numbers, although the Blues were already in a 4-0 hole by the time he took over the crease. The 25-year-old netminder has a brutal 5.02 GAA and .836 save percentage to go with a 1-3-0 record in six appearances this season, but he should get the nod Thursday in Buffalo on the second night of a back-to-back.

  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Lifted from Wednesday's rout

Binnington stopped 11 of 15 shots before being replaced by Joel Hofer midway through the second period of Wednesday's 6-1 loss to the Capitals.

It was an embarrassing performance all around from the Blues, but Binnington somehow compounded it after he surrendered Alex Ovechkin's 900th career goal by trying to hide the historic puck in his pants. The 32-year-old netminder has just one win in his last seven outings, stumbling to a 3.60 GAA and .848 save percentage over that stretch along with a 1-4-2 record.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Nabs sixth win

Stolarz made 21 saves in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Mammoth.

The 31-year-old netminder gave up a goal late in each period, but the Leafs struck twice in the second and three times in the third to carry Stolarz to his fourth straight win. He's 6-4-1 through 11 starts on the season with a 3.11 GAA and .895 save percentage, but he's been playing better of late, allowing 11 goals on 123 shots (.911 save percentage) during his win streak.
