  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Hangs on for shootout win

Bobrovsky stopped 22 shots in regulation and overtime and all three shootout attempts he faced in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Kraken.

The Panthers squandered a 4-1 lead in the third period. allowing two breakaways 14 seconds apart to Jordan Eberle and Bobby McMann to tie the game. However, Bobrovsky didn't allow a goal in the shootout to secure the win. The veteran netminder has won four of his last five starts, going 4-1-0 with a 2.15 GAA and .915 save percentage.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

Kraken's Joey Daccord: Loses in shootout Tuesday

Daccord turned aside 21 of 24 shots in regulation and overtime and two of three shootout attempts during Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Panthers.

Florida's fourth goal in regulation deflected in off the stick of Shane Wright, who was attempting to block a centering pass by Noah Gregor. Daccord has just one win in his last seven outings, going 1-5-1 during that stretch with a 3.94 GAA and .862 save percentage.

  • John Gibson G | DET

Red Wings' John Gibson: Comes up short Tuesday

Gibson stopped 18 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Senators.

Ottawa took control early and built a 3-0 lead midway through the second period, and while Gibson shut the door the rest of the way, his offense couldn't close the gap. The veteran netminder has allowed more than three goals only once in 10 March outings while posting a 2.47 GAA and .909 save percentage, but he has just a 3-5-1 record to show for it.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Nabs big win Tuesday

Ullmark made 32 saves in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Red Wings.

In a battle of two teams clawing for a playoff spot in the Eastern Conference, Ullmark got staked to a 3-0 lead midway through the second period and did enough to make it stick. The veteran netminder has allowed two goals or fewer in four of his last five starts, going 4-1-0 during that span with a 2.02 GAA and .915 save percentage.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Surrenders four goals in loss

Lankinen stopped 29 of 33 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

The Canucks kept it close for much of the game, but they came up a goal short. Lankinen is now on a three-game losing streak with 12 goals allowed on 84 shots in that span. That's fairly poor performance even by Lankinen's shaky standards this season. He's down to 8-24-5 with a 3.63 GAA and an .876 save percentage over 40 appearances. The Canucks host the Kings on Thursday, and given Lankinen's recent play, Nikita Tolopilo may be due for a start soon.

  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Holds off Canucks

Dostal stopped 27 of 30 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.

The Canucks got a goal in each period, including two on the power play, but the Ducks were just a little better. Dostal improved to 6-2-1 with 28 goals allowed over nine outings in March, which has been a bit of a shaky month for him despite the wins. For the season, he's up to 29-15-3 with a 3.01 GAA and an .893 save percentage over 49 appearances. The Ducks' road trip continues with another favorable matchup Thursday in Calgary.

  • Mammoth's Vitek Vanecek: Sharp in relief outing

Vanecek stopped all 10 shots he faced in relief of Karel Vejmelka in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Oilers.

The Oilers' lone goal in the third period went into an empty net. Vanecek put in a good performance, and he's now allowed just eight goals on 104 shots over five outings in March. For the season, Vanecek is at 5-10-3 with a 2.67 GAA and an .893 save percentage through 19 appearances. The Mammoth have a light schedule to end March and begin April, so it's not clear when Vanecek might get back between the pipes.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Pulled after two periods

Vejmelka gave up four goals on 15 shots in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Oilers.

Vejmelka was pulled after the second period. He gave up three goals in a span of 3:40 during that frame, but head coach Andre Tourigny didn't make the change until the start of the third period. Vejmelka will wear the loss from this poor showing, dropping him to 4-4-1 in March and 32-19-3 on the season. The 29-year-old has added a 2.71 GAA and an .897 save percentage through 55 appearances. The Mammoth's next game is Thursday versus the Capitals.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Can't recover from early flurry

Silovs made 24 saves in a 6-2 loss to Colorado on Tuesday. He allowed five goals.

Silovs never recovered from a first-period flurry where he allowed three goals in a 1:55 span. But then again, his teammates are really struggling to score lately -- they have been outscored 11-3 in two straight losses. Silovs has been alternating starts with Stuart Skinner, and he's 2-1-0 in his last three and 5-3-0 in eight games since the Olympic break. Skinner is 1-2-4 in the same span, so the Pens could send Silovs out there a bit more often to keep a playoff spot. They are now third in the Metropolitan Division, just one point ahead of the Islanders in fourth.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Back in win column

Wedgewood made 30 saves in a 6-2 win over Pittsburgh on Tuesday.

The Avs were sloppy in front of him, but Wedgewood held them in the game until they caught fire. He's back in the win column after going 0-1-1 in his previous two outings. Since the Olympic break, Wedgewood is 6-1-1 in eight starts with a sparkling .935 save percentage.
