Demko has a 4-3-0 record, 2.17 GAA and .926 save percentage in seven outings in 2025-26. He stopped 23 of 24 shots in his last start Tuesday, but the Canucks didn't offer him any offensive support, resulting in a 2-0 loss to the Rangers. The Wild are 3-6-3 and tied for 26th in goals per game with 2.58.

Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Expected to face Buffalo
Lindgren is set to guard the road crease against Buffalo on Saturday, Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post reports.
Lindgren earned a 35-save shutout in his season debut against the Rangers on Oct. 12, but he's allowed 11 goals on 58 shots (.810 save percentage) in his two outings since that perfect game. He's also traditionally had mixed results against the Sabres, posting a 2-2-1 record, 3.50 GAA and .877 save percentage across six career regular-season appearances. Buffalo is 4-4-3 and ranks 19th in goals per game with 3.00 this year.

Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Slated starter Saturday
Askarov is expected to start at home against Colorado on Saturday, per Max Miller of NHL.com.
Askarov has a 1-4-1 record, 4.69 GAA and .844 save percentage in six outings this year. The 23-year-old has surrendered four or more goals in five of his six appearances. Colorado is 7-1-4 and ranks second in goals per game with 3.75, so this is a very tough assignment for the young goaltender.

While his overall GAA and save percentage are favorable, the 29-year-old goaltender is working through a rough patch in which he's surrendered 14 goals on 90 shots (.844 save percentage) across his past three starts. Seattle is 5-2-3 and tied for 23rd in goals per game with 2.80 this year.

Comrie will patrol the home crease against Pittsburgh on Saturday, according to Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff.
Comrie has a 2-0-0 record this season while turning aside 63 of the 68 shots he has faced. He likely won't play much behind Connor Hellebuyck this campaign, but Comrie has been a decent backup for the team over the years. Pittsburgh has scored 3.67 goals per game in 2025-26, ranking fourth in the league.

Nashville has struggled to score goals this year -- the Predators are tied for 30th in goals per game with 2.33 -- so Wolf might fare better in this matchup.

Knight had a rough start Thursday, giving up six goals on 32 shots in a 6-3 loss to Winnipeg. He is 4-3-1 with a 2.59 GAA and a .914 save percentage across eight starts this season, as he has solidified the Chicago goaltending situation. The Oilers average 3.17 goals per game in 2025-26, 18th in the NHL.
