The 26-year-old netminder is 2-1-1 with a 3.08 GAA and an .876 save percentage in October. He has been replaced by Dan Vladar as the Flyers' top netminder. Philadelphia recalled Aleksei Kolosov in a corresponding move to back up Vladar on Thursday.

  • Flyers' Aleksei Kolosov: Recalled from AHL

The Flyers called up Kolosov from AHL Lehigh Valley on Thursday, according to Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports.

Ersson is considered day-to-day, and Aleksei Kolosov is slated to be called up to serve as Vladar's backup for Thursday's game. Vladar has gone 3-2-0 with a 1.81 GAA and a .932 save percentage over his first five starts of the season.

He's made three previous starts this year, all on the road, going 2-1-0 with a 2.33 GAA and a .911 save percentage. The Islanders have had a solid start to the year offensively, averaging 3.56 goals per game, which ranks ninth in the league.

Both of Husso's wins this season have come via shutout, but he's allowed a total of 10 goals in his three losses. The 30-year-old netminder will continue to split time with Calle Clang. Husso figures to be the first goalie for a call-up if Lukas Dostal or Petr Mrazek are unavailable at any point in 2025-26.
