Vanecek is making the most of his opportunities, picking up his second straight win. His early-season success could earn him more trust from head coach Andre Tourigny, but as long as Karel Vejmelka maintains a firm grip on the starting job, Vanecek's fantasy value will remain limited.

Despite a decent outing, Hellebuyck picked up a second straight loss Sunday, falling 3-2 to the Mammoth. After posting a ridiculous 27-3-3 record at the Canada Life Centre last season, this was already his third home loss of the young 2025-26 campaign. He'll look to get back to his winning ways on Tuesday night in Minnesota.

Pickard will tend the road twine Sunday versus the Canucks, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
Pickard has conceded nine goals over his last two starts, but he picked up a win in his last appearance against Montreal on Thursday, stopping 22 of 27 shots. The Oilers were defeated by the Kraken on Saturday, while the Canucks lost to the Canadiens, so neither club has the rest advantage Sunday. Pickard owns a 2-2-1 record, 2.19 GAA and .920 save percentage over five career regular-season outings against Vancouver.

Annunen will draw the start in the second half of a back-to-back after Juuse Saros was in net for Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Kings. The 25-year-old Annunen surrendered five goals on 26 shots in a loss during his lone appearance versus the Maple Leafs on Oct. 14. The Stars snapped a four-game losing streak in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Hurricanes, and they're tied for 16th in the NHL with 3.00 goals per game to start the year.

Forsberg will make his fourth start of the season Sunday, as he's posted a 1-1-1 record, 3.89 GAA and .880 save percentage through his first three appearances. The Blackhawks have played well lately, scoring 18 goals over their last five games, a span in which they are 4-0-1. The 32-year-old Forsberg is 1-1-1 with one shutout, a 3.32 GAA and an .841 save percentage over three career appearances against Chicago.

Allen stopped 21 of the 24 shots that he faced during Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Avalanche.
Allen has done an admirable job filling in as the starting goaltender while Jacob Markstrom has been out with a lower-body injury. The 35-year-old dipped below a .900 save percentage in a game for the first time this season, but he did enough to guide the Devils to the overtime victory. His stat line to begin the season is impressive: 5-0-0 record, 1.72 GAA and .923 save percentage. Markstrom was healthy enough to dress as Allen's backup Sunday.

Shesterkin will start Sunday's road game against Calgary, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
Shesterkin has been in the midst of a cold spell, going 0-2-2 with a 2.75 GAA and .890 save percentage over his last four appearances. However, he'll draw a third consecutive start Sunday and will have a favorable matchup against the Flames, who are averaging a league-worst 1.67 goals per game to begin the season.

Hellebuyck stopped 25 of 26 shots in a 3-0 loss to Seattle on Thursday, with the final two goals being empty-netters. He has posted a 4-2-0 record this season while allowing only 12 goals on 176 shots. Utah is riding a six-game winning streak, including a 6-2 victory over Minnesota on Saturday.
