The 29-year-old goaltender has started in two games this season, going 0-1-1 while stopping 65 of 74 shots (.878 save percentage). Pittsburgh is 3-2-0 and has scored 15 goals in five games this year.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Hangs on for first win of season
Sorokin turned aside 29 shots in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Senators.
The 30-year-old netminder got beaten four times in the first two periods, but Sorokin slammed the door shut on Ottawa over the final 20 minutes to give the Islanders a chance to mount a comeback. Sorokin has given up exactly four goals in four straight starts to begin the season. However, Saturday marked the first time he got enough offensive support to get into the win column. He has a 1-3-0 record, 4.13 GAA and .861 save percentage.

Alex Lyon G | BUF
Sabres' Alex Lyon: Blanks champs for second win
Lyon stopped 32 shots in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Panthers.
The 32-year-old netminder got staked to an early lead thanks to a pair of Josh Doan power-play tallies, and Lyon was able to handle Florida's attempts at a comeback. It was the fifth career shutout for Lyon, and his first of the season. Through five starts, he's gone 2-3-0 with a 2.43 GAA and .929 save percentage. Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen (lower body) returned to Tuesday's practice but doesn't have a target date for his return, so Lyon will continue handling the No. 1 role for the Sabres.

Jonas Johansson G | TB
Lightning's Jonas Johansson: In goal versus Columbus
Johansson will guard the road goal versus the Blue Jackets on Saturday, Lightning reporter Gabby Shirley reports.
Johansson is playing the second half of a back-to-back. He won his first start with 30 saves on 33 shots against the Bruins on Monday. Andrei Vasilevskiy has struggled and may get more rest if he can't right the ship soon, which would open the door for Johansson to play more.

Jesper Wallstedt G | MIN
Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Tending twine Saturday
Wallstedt will protect the road net in Saturday's game versus the Flyers, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
Wallstedt will handle the second half of a back-to-back after Filip Gustavsson started in Friday's 5-1 loss to the Capitals. In his season debut against the Kings, Wallstedt stopped 31 of 34 shots to pick up a shootout win. The 22-year-old has handled a backup role so far in 2025-26.

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Between pipes Saturday
Hill will patrol the home crease against Calgary on Saturday.
