Jakub Dobes G | MON
Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Stands tall in Game 3 win
Dobes made 26 saves on 28 shots in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Sabres in Game 3.
Tage Thompson knocked a puck past Dobes just 53 seconds into the first period, but he shook it off and allowed only a power-play tally by Rasmus Dahlin the rest of the way as Montreal's offense took control. The 24-year-old netminder sports an impressive 2.13 GAA and .918 save percentage through his first 10 career playoff starts heading into Game 4 on Tuesday, as the Canadiens look to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the series.

Alex Lyon G | BUF
Sabres' Alex Lyon: Gets little help in Game 3 loss
Lyon stopped 31 of 36 shots in Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Canadiens in Game 3. Montreal's final goal was scored into an empty net.
The veteran netminder came up with some big saves, but defensive breakdowns by Buffalo once again led to plenty of open looks and second chances for Montreal. Lyon has now given up nine goals on 63 shots over the last two games, both losses, and while he isn't fully at fault for those results, head coach Lindy Ruff may have to consider a switch in the crease for Game 4 on Tuesday.

Carter Hart G | LV
Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Falls short in Game 4
Hart stopped 19 of 23 shots in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Ducks in Game 4.
Hart had allowed a total of five goals on 94 shots over the first three games of this series, so this was a bit of a letdown performance. The 27-year-old hadn't posted a save percentage lower than .926 over his previous four contests. He's now at a 6-4 record with a 2.55 GAA and a .908 save percentage through 10 playoff games. This series has become a best-of-three to wrap it up, making Tuesday's Game 5 in Vegas a critical one to win.

Lukas Dostal G | ANA
Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Bounces back for win
Dostal stopped 18 of 21 shots in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Golden Knights in Game 4.
Dostal continues to alternate wins and losses. He was pulled after the first period of Game 3 but bounced back Sunday in Game 4. Dostal is now 6-4 with a 3.42 GAA and an .874 save percentage over 10 playoff contests. While his Game 4 performance wasn't all that impressive, it should be enough for the 25-year-old to get the nod on the road in Game 5.

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Looking to take 3-1 series lead
Hart will defend the road crease in Game 4 against the Ducks on Sunday, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.
Hart has been phenomenal in the second round against an Anaheim club that sits fourth in the NHL in postseason scoring with 3.56 goals per game. The 27-year-old has allowed two or fewer goals in each of the first three games in this series. Overall in the 2026 playoffs, Hart is 6-3 with a 2.39 GAA and a .912 save percentage through nine outings. The netminder and his team can take a 3-1 series lead with a win Sunday, but Vegas will be without its captain in Game 4, as Mark Stone is contending with a lower-body injury.

Jakub Dobes G | MON
Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Defending home crease Sunday
Dobes will patrol the home blue paint Sunday versus the Sabres in Game 3, according to Heather Engel of NHL.com.
Dobes rebounded in Game 2 after a poor showing in Game 1, as he turned aside 28 of 29 shots in Montreal's 5-1 win over Buffalo on Friday. The 24-year-old has alternated wins and losses through nine games in the 2026 postseason, going 5-4 with a 2.14 GAA and a .917 save percentage. Dobes has been especially good of late, conceding just one goal in three of his last four outings, and he will have the home crowd behind him Sunday.

Alex Lyon G | BUF
Sabres' Alex Lyon: Starting in Montreal
Lyon will be between the road pipes in Game 3 against the Canadiens on Sunday, per Heather Engel of NHL.com.
Lyon has given up six goals on 55 shots (.891 save percentage) through the first two games of this second-round series. The Minnesota native had his worst outing of the postseason Friday, surrendering four goals on 27 shots in a 5-1 loss in Game 2. If Lyon and the Sabres drop Game 3, it's a possibility head coach Lindy Ruff turns back to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in goal to shake things up.

MacKenzie Blackwood G | COL
Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Steady in relief appearance
Blackwood stopped 12 of 13 shots in relief of Scott Wedgewood in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Wild in Game 3.
Blackwood put in a good performance over the better part of two periods. This was his first action this postseason after a regular season in which he had a 23-10-2 record with a 2.50 GAA and a .904 save percentage. Blackwood is in the playoffs for the second time in his career after he went 3-4 with a 2.71 GAA and an .892 save percentage over seven games in 2025. Wedgewood has been the better goalie so far, but it's not clear if Game 3 has caused head coach Jared Bednar to give Blackwood an extended look between the pipes.

Scott Wedgewood G | COL
Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Gets pulled in Game 3
Wedgewood stopped nine of 12 shots in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Wild in Game 3.
Wedgewood will end up wearing the loss for this one after getting pulled early in the second period. Mackenzie Blackwood stopped 12 of 13 shots in relief. Wedgewood is now 6-1 with a 2.45 GAA and a .911 save percentage over seven playoff appearances. His strong play throughout the postseason should count for something, but it's not yet clear which direction head coach Jared Bednar will go for his goalies in Monday's Game 4.

Jesper Wallstedt G | MIN
Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Rebounds with win
Wallstedt stopped 35 of 36 shots in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Avalanche in Game 3.
Wallstedt was benched for Game 2 after giving up eight goals on 42 shots in the series opener. Filip Gustavsson fared no better in his first start of the postseason, so Wallstedt was given another chance and delivered his best performance yet to help the Wild avoid a daunting deficit. He's now 5-3 with a 2.61 GAA and a .913 save percentage over eight playoff outings. With Wallstedt getting back in a groove, expect him to get the nod again Monday in Game 4.
