  • Islanders' Marcus Hogberg: Tending twine in Columbus

Hogberg will defend the road crease against Columbus on Thursday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports.

Hogberg has seen sporadic playing time for most of the season, but he's failed to pick up a win over seven appearances since the 4 Nations Face-Off. During that time, he's gone 0-3-3 with a 4.82 GAA and .829 save percentage. He'll draw the start in Thursday's regular-season finale and will face a tough test, as the Blue Jackets are tied for eighth in the NHL with 3.22 goals per game this year. However, Columbus was eliminated from playoff contention Wednesday night, so it's possible the team rests a few players Thursday.

  • Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Slated to start Thursday

Johansson was the first netminder off the ice at morning skate and is slated to guard the visiting crease against the Rangers on Thursday, per Gabby Shirley of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun.

Johansson is 3-0-2 in his last five starts, last picking up a regulation loss Jan. 28 against Chicago. Overall, he is 9-5-3 with a 3.08 GAA and an .898 save percentage over 18 appearances in 2024-25. The Rangers are registering 3.10 goals per game this season, which ranks 12th in the NHL.

  • Capitals' Clay Stevenson: Drawing start against Pittsburgh

Stevenson will defend the road crease during Thursday's regular-season finale against Pittsburgh, Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post reports.

The Capitals' playoff seeding is already secure heading into the final game of the regular season, so Stevenson will make his NHL debut against the Penguins. Over 33 appearances with AHL Hershey this year, he went 18-8-4 with a 2.94 GAA and .888 save percentage. Head coach Spencer Carbery said Thursday that Logan Thompson (upper body) continues to progress in his recovery, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Stevenson head back to the minors if Thompson is cleared to return for the start of the playoffs.

  • Ivan Fedotov G | CLB

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Starting season finale

Fedotov will patrol the visiting crease in Buffalo on Thursday.

Fedotov is 6-13-4 with a 3.15 GAA and an .880 save percentage over 26 outings this season. He was highly regarded after signing near the end of the 2023-24 campaign, but he has been mediocre at the NHL level, combining for an .874 save percentage over 29 career appearances. The Sabres are 10th in NHL scoring in 2024-25, generating 3.21 goals per game.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: First off ice Thursday

Ullmark was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports, an indication he is slated to defend the home goal versus Carolina on Thursday.

Ullmark has won his last three starts and six of his last seven games. The 31-year-old netminder has sat out the last two games and should be sharp Thursday, as well as ready to go for Game 1 in Toronto on Sunday. Ullmark is 24-14-3 with four shutouts, a 2.67 GAA and a .911 save percentage across 43 appearances in 2024-25. The Hurricanes are tied for eighth in NHL scoring, registering 3.22 goals per contest.

  • Penguins' Alex Nedeljkovic: Starting versus Capitals

Nedeljkovic will patrol the home crease versus Washington on Thursday, according to Penguins' studio host Dan Potash .

Nedeljkovic will make his second start in Pittsburgh's last eight games. He is 13-15-5 with a 3.16 GAA and an .894 save percentage over 37 appearances in 2024-25. The Capitals are generating 3.51 goals per game this season, which ranks second in the NHL.

  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Tending twine to close out season

Greaves will defend the home crease against the Islanders on Thursday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.

The Blue Jackets were eliminated from postseason contention when the Canadiens defeated the Hurricanes on Wednesday night, but Greaves will still get the start in Thursday's regular-season finale since Elvis Merzlikins (upper body) remains sidelined. Greaves helped to keep Columbus in the mix for a playoff spot by going 4-0-0 with a 0.75 GAA and .976 save percentage over his last four starts.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Starting final game of season

Shesterkin will be between the pipes versus Tampa Bay on Thursday, per Mollie Walker of the New York Post.

Shesterkin will likely face a depleted Lightning team as Tampa Bay is locked in to second place in the Atlantic Division and will host Florida in Game 1 of the opening round of the playoffs. Shesterkin is 26-29-5 with five shutouts, a 2.91 GAA and a .903 save percentage in 60 outings this season. Despite having the worst season statistically in his NHL career, Shesterkin was stellar most of the season and kept the Rangers in playoff contention. Shesterkin should be drafted among the top goaltenders in fantasy drafts ahead of the 2025-26 season.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Puts final touches on Vezina case

Hellebuyck made 30 saves in Wednesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Ducks.

The veteran goalie saw his shutout bid spoiled by Troy Terry early in the third period, but it was still an impressive final regular-season outing for Hellebuyck. The reigning Vezina Trophy winner is the favorite to take home the hardware again after posting career-best numbers in wins (47), GAA (2.00) and save percentage (.925) in 2024-25, leading the NHL in the first two categories and sitting just a hair behind Anthony Stolarz's .926 save percentage in the third.

  • Ville Husso G | ANA

Ducks' Ville Husso: Bombarded by Jets in OT loss

Husso turned aside 42 shots in Wednesday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Jets.

The 30-year-old netminder did everything he could to steal a win for the Ducks in their regular-season finale, but Mark Scheifele snapped a puck past him 71 seconds into OT to end Anaheim's campaign. After a rough beginning to the season as part of the goaltending jumble in Detroit, Husso looked better in four late-season outings for Anaheim, going 1-1-1 with a 2.99 GAA and .925 save percentage. He'll try to find a backup job as a free agent this offseason.
