  • Blues' Jordan Binnington: Set to start versus Detroit

Binnington will be in the home blue paint against the Red Wings on Tuesday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.

Binnington is rolling with five straight wins, and he's conceded just one goal in each of his last three starts. The Ontario native has an excellent 8-2-0 record, 2.21 GAA and .910 save percentage across 10 appearances in March. Detroit is 2-4-0 in its last six games while generating 16 goals in that span.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Facing Boston

Lindgren will protect the road crease Tuesday against the Bruins, according to Tom Gulitti of NHL.com.

Lindgren has alternated wins and losses over his last four appearances, with his last start coming in a 4-2 loss to Minnesota on Thursday. The 31-year-old is sporting a 16-12-3 record, 2.65 GAA and .897 save percentage over 32 outings this season. Lindgren is a strong play for this matchup against a Boston club that has produced 2.61 goals per game this season, the fourth-worst mark in the NHL.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Starting on Long Island

Vasilevskiy was the first netminder off at Tuesday's morning skate, Gabby Shirley of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun reports, indicating he'll be between the road pipes against the Islanders.

Vasilevskiy recorded a 25-save shutout in his last start Thursday in an 8-0 win over Utah. He concluded March with a 7-4-0 record, .913 save percentage and 2.09 GAA over 11 appearances. The Islanders have lost five straight contests and sit 25th in the NHL with 2.74 goals per game, so it's a favorable matchup for Vasilevskiy. He's posted a stellar 13-4-1 record, 2.09 GAA and .936 save percentage across 19 career outings against New York.

  • Canadiens' Sam Montembeault: Tending twine Tuesday

Montembeault will defend the cage at home versus the Panthers on Tuesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

Montembeault has appeared in seven of the Habs' last eight contests in which he is sporting a 3-2-2 record and a 3.16 GAA. The 28-year-old netminder has already set new personal bests in games played (55), wins (26) and shutouts (four). While Jakub Dobes has been decent this season -- a 6-4-2 record and an .897 save percentage -- it should be mostly Montembeault the rest of the way while Montreal clings to a playoff spot.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Exits ice first

Ullmark was the first goalie to leave the ice Tuesday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports, indicating he'll tend the twine at home versus the Sabres.

Ullmark is riding a three-game winning streak during which he posted a 2.33 GAA and a .924 save percentage. The 31-year-old netminder missed the 25-win mark last year but should be capable of achieving the threshold before the end of the 2024-25 campaign. While Ullmark will see the bulk of the workload moving forward, Anton Forsberg should get a look during a back-to-back against the Panthers and Blue Jackets on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

  • Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Gets starting nod against Preds

Merzlikins will be between the pipes at home versus Nashville on Tuesday, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

Despite a 2-1-0 record, Merzlikins' numbers haven't been very good over that stretch, as he is sporting a 4.46 GAA and an .864 save percentage in those three outings. With the Jackets still in the playoff hunt, Merzlikins should continue to see a heavy workload down the stretch -- though a back-to-back against Toronto and Ottawa on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, should open the door for Daniil Tarasov to get an opportunity.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: In goal Tuesday

Sorokin will get the starting nod at home against the Lightning on Tuesday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

Sorokin is mired in a three-game losing streak during which he posted a 4.02 GAA, an .847 save percentage and a record of 0-2-1. The Isles can't afford to drop any more games if they are going to try to push for a wild-card spot, which could mean a heavy workload down the stretch for Sorokin, even factoring in his current subpar form.

  • Ivan Fedotov G | CLB

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Stands tall in Monday's win

Fedotov stopped 28 shots in Monday's 2-1 win over the Predators.

Zachary L'Heureux flipped home a rebound midway through the second period, but otherwise, Fedotov had an answer for everything Nashville fired his way, as he collected his first win since March 1, snapping an 0-5-0 skid. It was the 28-year-old netminder's first appearance since John Tortorella was relieved of his duties, and the renewed confidence the Flyers have been showing under interim head coach Brad Shaw seems to be shared by the team's goalies as well.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Gets little help in Philly

Annunen made 16 saves in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Flyers.

Nashville outshot Philly 29-18 on the night, but Annunen had little chance on either puck that got past him, while the Preds' offense had trouble solving Ivan Fedotov in the other crease. Annunen hasn't picked up a win since March 8, going 0-4-1 over his last five starts despite a sharp 2.24 GAA and .907 save percentage, as Nashville's skaters backed him with only four goals combined over that span.

  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Secures third straight win

Markstrom turned aside 27 shots in regulation and overtime and both shootout attempts he faced in Monday's 3-2 win over the Wild.

He took a shutout into the third period, but Minnesota forced OT with tallies early and late in the frame -- one on a deflection through heavy traffic, and the other after an unlucky bounce put the puck on Matt Boldy's stick right on Markstrom's doorstep. The veteran netminder is up to 25 wins on the season, and after some mid-March stumbles, he seems to have turned things around, allowing three goals or fewer in four straight starts while going 3-0-1 with a 2.40 GAA and a .905 save percentage.
