Spencer Knight G | CHI
Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Skid reaches three games
Knight stopped 24 of 30 shots in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Kraken.
Knight has now allowed 11 goals during his three-game losing streak. He had an opportunity Tuesday to tighten his grip on the starting job after Arvid Soderblom gave up six goals versus the Canucks, but Knight's poor performance against a lesser team is not encouraging. The 23-year-old Knight is still likely to receive a slight edge in starts down the stretch. He's now at 14-11-1 with a 2.51 GAA and a .906 save percentage through 28 appearances between the Blackhawks and the Panthers. Chicago's next game is a tough home matchup versus the Kings on Thursday, though Knight dazzled in a 41-save effort to earn a 5-1 win over Los Angeles in his Blackhawks debut March 3.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Sixth win in last nine starts
Sorokin made 20 saves in a 4-2 win over Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
Sorokin held the Pens to just two goals going into the third period, and his teammates did the rest with four unanswered goals in the final frame. Sorokin has really put the pedal down in his last nine outings, recording a 6-2-1 record with 21 goals allowed and a .923 save percentage. He's elite, and he's peaking at the perfect time for fantasy playoffs.

Logan Thompson G | WAS
Capitals' Logan Thompson: Name in record books with win
Thompson made 23 saves in a 4-1 win over Detroit on Tuesday.
With the win, Thompson moved into some pretty elite territory. He is 30-4-5, and that matches the fewest regulation losses by a goalie in NHL history at the time of his 30th win. That's been done only three times, and just once in modern history. Tiny Thompson (1929-30), Bill Durnan (1943-44) and Linus Ullmark (2022-23) are the only other netminders to achieve that feat.

Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Overcomes rough first period
Daccord stopped 26 of 28 shots in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Blackhawks.
Daccord allowed two goals in the first period, but he settled in after that to avoid another shaky outing. The Kraken supported him with six unanswered goals to cruise to the win. The 28-year-old netminder has won three of his seven games in March, but this was the first time since Feb. 22 that he was able to limit an opponent to fewer than three goals. Daccord is at 23-18-4 with a 2.67 GAA and a .908 save percentage over 47 outings. Philipp Grubauer will likely get the nod in Minnesota on Wednesday, while Daccord could be back between the pipes for a tough matchup Saturday versus the Oilers.

Petr Mrazek G | ANA
Red Wings' Petr Mrazek: Strong effort in loss
Mrazek made 22 saves in a 4-1 loss to the Capitals on Tuesday.
Mrazek was on fire until well into the third period when the wheels came off a bit. The Caps got the lead at 8:16 of that frame, and they put up three in 7:11. Mrazek is 2-2-0 with one shutout, a 2.51 GAA and a .901 save percentage in four starts with the Red Wings. He has gotten every start since his arrival in Motown, and Cam Talbot has taken a back seat. Take advantage of Mrazek's opportunity.

Joey Daccord G | SEA
Kraken's Joey Daccord: Tending twine in Chicago
Daccord will start Tuesday's road game versus the Blackhawks, Tracey Myers of NHL.com reports.
Daccord will get the nod for the eighth time in 10 games. In his last seven outings, he's given up at least three goals each time, going 2-4-1. The Blackhawks don't have a great offense, and they've been limited to 13 goals over their last six games, earning just one win in that span.

John Gibson G | DET
Ducks' John Gibson: Not ready to suit up
Gibson (lower body) won't suit up for Tuesday's game versus the Stars, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports.
Gibson was not expected to start Tuesday, but he also won't be able to back up. The 31-year-old netminder is on the Ducks' road trip and appears to be closing in on a return, so it's possible he could return for Thursday's game against the Predators.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Facing Penguins
Sorokin will defend the road net against Pittsburgh on Tuesday, per Andrew Gross of Newsday.
Sorokin is coming off a 22-save effort in Sunday's 4-2 win over Florida. He has a 25-20-5 record with three shutouts, a 2.73 GAA and a .906 save percentage through 50 appearances this season. Pittsburgh is tied for 18th in the league with 2.91 goals per game, and the team is riding a four-game winning streak.
-
Dan Vladar G | PHI
Flames' Dan Vladar: Guarding cage Tuesday
Vladar will start Tuesday's road game versus the Rangers, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Vladar stopped two of three shots in relief of Dustin Wolf in Monday's 6-2 loss to the Maple Leafs, and he'll now start a day later. The 27-year-old Vladar is 1-1-1 with eight goals allowed on 99 shots over his last four contests. The Rangers have scored just 15 goals over their last six games, going 2-3-1 in that span.

Connor Hellebuyck G | WPG
Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Starting in Vancouver
Hellebuyck will guard the road goal against Vancouver on Tuesday, according to Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press.
Hellebuyck made 23 saves in a 6-1 win over the Canucks on Jan. 14. He has a 39-9-3 record with six shutouts, a 1.99 GAA and a .927 save percentage through 52 appearances this season. Vancouver sits 23rd in the league with 2.73 goals per game in 2024-25.
