  • Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Ugly performance in loss

Soderblom allowed six goals on 15 shots in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Canucks.

While the Canucks didn't generate many shots, they were able to capitalize on plenty of chances. Soderblom can hardly afford to have a bad outing -- Spencer Knight had started the previous two games and looks to be solidifying himself as the No. 1 netminder. Soderblom earned his ninth loss in 10 appearances (1-5-4), and he's down to 8-16-7 with a 3.14 GAA and a .901 save percentage through 32 appearances this season. The Blackhawks are back in action at home Tuesday versus the Kraken, and Soderblom may have to wait until next weekend's back-to-back to get in the crease again.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: Still winless in March

Stolarz made 21 saves in a 4-2 loss to Ottawa on Saturday. The fourth goal was an empty-netter.

Stolarz's hiccup in March has continued. He's 0-3-1 in five outings with 15 goals allowed on 121 shots. His overall numbers have taken a bit of a dip with this run, but Stolarz still has a 2.39 GAA and a .918 save percentage through 25 appearances this season.

  • Canucks' Arturs Silovs: Plenty of support in win

Silovs stopped 17 of 19 shots in Saturday's 6-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Silovs had lost his last four NHL outings, dating back to Nov. 19. He gave up 15 goals in that span, and while he was far from sharp Saturday, the Canucks' offense did even better with six goals on 15 shots against Arvid Soderblom. Silovs improved to 2-6-1 with a 3.65 GAA and an .861 save percentage over 10 appearances. Silovs is still likely to see limited action behind Kevin Lankinen, who is probable to start Sunday at home versus Utah.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Ice tilted at him all night long

Swayman made 34 saves Saturday in a 6-2 loss to Tampa Bay. The Lightning's final two goals were scored on an empty net.

Swayman had the rink tilted at him all game long -- Andrei Vasilevskiy saw just 12 shots (two goals). Swayman can't do it alone, and that's exactly what it felt like Saturday -- the Bruins didn't show up. That means Swayman could have a rough ride to the season's end, and that could negatively impact your fantasy playoff run.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Barely tested in win

Vasilevskiy made 10 saves Saturday in a 6-2 win over the Bruins.

Yes, 10. The game was going on at the other end of the ice most of the night, including the entire second period -- the Bruins didn't register a shot on net during the middle frame. Vasilevskiy snapped a two-game personal losing streak with the win. Overall, he's 31-18-3 with four shutouts, a 2.28 GAA and a .919 save percentage in 52 starts this season.

  • Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Back-to-back shutouts

Kuemper posted a 24-save shutout in Saturday's 1-0 overtime win over the Predators.

After giving up 12 goals while posting a record of 0-2-1 from Feb. 28 to March 5, Kuemper has rebounded in a massive way. He's won four straight starts, including the last two by shutout, and he's stopped 97 of 99 shots in that span. The 34-year-old netminder is up to 35 shutouts in his career, including four this season. He's gone 22-8-7 with a 2.16 GAA and a .918 save percentage over 38 appearances in what's shaping up to be one of the best seasons of his career. The Kings head out on a two-game road trip to start next week, with stops in Minnesota on Monday and Chicago on Thursday.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Loses goaltending duel in overtime

Annunen stopped 20 of 21 shots in Saturday's 1-0 overtime loss to the Kings.

Annunen was dialed in, matching Darcy Kuemper throughout regulation. The Kings got the lone goal from Quinton Byfield at 3:20 of overtime, sending Annunen to an unfortunate defeat, his fourth in six outings despite his best performance in that span. For the season, the 25-year-old netminder is at 14-9-1 with a 3.04 GAA and an .890 save percentage over 26 games between the Predators and the Avalanche. The Predators return home to face the Blues on Tuesday, which is likely to be a start for Juuse Saros, but their back-to-back set next weekend should afford Annunen another chance to start soon.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Yields four goals in loss

Gustavsson stopped 22 of 26 shots in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Blues. The fifth goal was an empty-netter.

Gustavsson gave up three goals before the Wild got on the board, and they didn't have enough to challenge the Blues. With a 3-3-1 record and 17 goals allowed over his last seven outings, Gustavsson's performance has been pretty pedestrian lately. He's now at a 25-15-4 record over 45 games, while also maintaining a 2.60 GAA and a .914 save percentage. The Wild continue their seven-game homestand with a potentially challenging matchup against the Kings on Monday.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Light work in win

Hofer stopped 17 of 18 shots in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Wild.

Hofer took care of business in a game where the Wild were limited to just a Jake Middleton goal off a turnover in the second period. The 24-year-old Hofer picked up his first win since Feb. 27 versus the Capitals, though two of his three outings in March have been less than full games -- he was pulled from a start and made a brief relief appearance. The young netminder is now at 12-7-3 with a 2.78 GAA and a .901 save percentage over 26 appearances. Look for Jordan Binnington to get the start Sunday versus the Ducks.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Earns fifth shutout of season

Shesterkin posted a 21-save shutout in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Blue Jackets.

Shesterkin is now alone in second place in the NHL with five shutouts this season, two of which he's earned since the start of March. He's 3-1-2 with 11 goals allowed over six outings this month, which makes it one of his best stretches of the season despite lacking the wins to match the performance. Overall, Shesterkin has a 23-22-4 record with a 2.79 GAA and a .907 save percentage across 49 starts. The ratios are the worst of his career, and he's at risk of missing the 30-win mark for the first time since 2020-21, though he should see a heavy workload as long as the Rangers are battling for a playoff spot. He'll likely get Sunday off though, as the Rangers are set to complete their back-to-back set with a home game versus the Oilers, which will likely be a start for Jonathan Quick.
