  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: In goal Saturday

Markstrom will guard the road net Saturday against the Penguins, Sam Kasan of the Devils' official site reports.

Markstrom has struggled since returning from a knee injury, going 1-3-0 with an .850 save percentage in his previous four outings. He'll look to right the ship against a Pittsburgh team averaging 2.85 goals per game. Overall, Markstrom is 22-12-5 with a .906 save percentage and a 2.36 GAA this year.

  • Sharks' Alexandar Georgiev: Defending crease Saturday

Georgiev will protect the home net against Washington on Saturday, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Georgiev is coming off a 24-save performance in Thursday's 4-2 win over Chicago. He has a 13-22-1 record with a 3.59 GAA and an .876 save percentage through 40 games between San Jose and Colorado this season. Washington ranks first in the league with 3.61 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Canucks' Arturs Silovs: Starting Saturday

Silovs will guard the home net Saturday against Chicago, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.

It'll be Silovs' first start since he was recalled from AHL Abbotsford last Sunday. The 23-year-old netminder has struggled in his nine NHL appearances this year, going 1-6-1 with an .858 save percentage and a 3.85 GAA. Silovs will face a Chicago team that's averaging 2.71 goals per game.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Impressive vs. Dallas

Hellebuyck stopped 24 of 25 shots in Friday's 4-1 win over the Stars.

Hellebuyck has won three of his last four starts, and the star netminder has posted a save percentage of at least .950 in each of those wins, so his numbers continue to rank among the league's elite in several categories. He's already achieved a career-high 39 wins, but he's also posted a 1.98 GAA and a .927 save percentage in his 51 appearances this season.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Gives up four goals Friday

Oettinger stopped 18 of 22 shots in Friday's 4-1 loss to the Jets.

Oettinger has been one of the top netminders in the NHL this season, but he didn't have his best Friday and surrendered four goals. Friday's performance marked the ninth time he's given up four or more goals in a game this campaign. Oettinger, who has won 30 games for the fourth year in a row, still owns a solid 2.52 GAA and a .907 save percentage. One poor outing won't impact his fantasy stock dramatically, especially considering the opposition.

  • Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Guarding cage Saturday

Jarry will patrol the home crease versus New Jersey on Saturday, Dave Molinari of Pittsburgh Hockey Now reports.

Jarry will make his fourth straight start as he has taken over the No. 1 job in Pittsburgh from Alex Nedeljkovic. In his previous three outings, Jarry has gone 3-0-0 while stopping 96 of 102 shots (.941 save percentage). He was sent to the minors earlier in the season after being placed on waivers, but he has rebounded nicely. New Jersey has generated 2.99 goals per game, tied for 14th in the NHL this season.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Gets starting nod Saturday

Swayman will be in the home blue paint versus Tampa Bay on Saturday, according to Shawn Hutcheon of The Fourth Period.

Swayman got the hook in his last start after allowing four goals on 15 shots during the first period in Thursday's 6-3 loss to Ottawa. He is 20-22-6 in a lackluster performance this season, picking up four shutouts with a 2.98 GAA and an .897 save percentage through 48 appearances. The Lightning are generating 3.49 goals per game in 2024-25, second in the NHL.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Tagged with OT loss

Sorokin gave up two goals on 35 shots in Friday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Oilers.

Sorokin was beaten twice by the red-hot Leon Draisaitl, but other than that, the Islanders netminder was excellent between the pipes. The 29-year-old Sorokin has dropped his last two starts, but he's been very good of late despite what his record indicates. He's posted a save percentage of at least .900 in his last four appearances, going 2-1-1 with a 2.25 GAA and a .933 save percentage.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Facing Blues

Gustavsson will patrol the home crease versus St. Louis on Saturday, per Michael Russo of The Athletic.

Gustavsson is 3-1-1 in his last five starts with a 1.77 GAA and a .937 save percentage. The 26-year-old netminder has posted a 25-14-4 record with four shutouts, a 2.57 GAA and a .915 save percentage across 44 contests in 2024-25. St. Louis is tied for 21st in the league with 2.82 goals per game this campaign.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Starting in Minnesota

Hofer will get the road start Saturday against the Wild, Jessi Pierce of NHL.com reports.

Hofer will get the start Saturday after making a late relief appearance in Thursday's 5-3 loss to Pittsburgh. The 24-year-old Hofer has gone 11-7-3 with a .900 save percentage and a 2.87 GAA while backing up Jordan Binnington this season.
