  • Adin Hill G | LV

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Drawing home start

Hill will patrol the home blue paint Sunday against the Kings, according to Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Hill has won four straight games while allowing two goals or fewer in each outing. The British Columbia native has a 23-10-4 record, .906 save percentage and 2.50 GAA through 37 appearances this season. The Kings rank 23rd in the NHL with 2.79 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Kings' David Rittich: Tending twine Sunday

Rittich will be between the road pipes Sunday in Las Vegas, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.

Rittich has lost his last three starts, and he has only one win over seven appearances in the new year. The 32-year-old netminder has a 12-12-2 record, .887 save percentage and 2.66 GAA through 27 appearances in 2024-25. The Golden Knights are riding a four-game winning streak and have won seven of their last eight games.

  • Canucks' Arturs Silovs: Back with big club

Silovs was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on an emergency basis Sunday.

Silovs was assigned to Abbotsford on Saturday, but he's back with Vancouver in short order. The Latvian netminder will presumably back up Kevin Lankinen in Sunday's home tilt versus the Stars.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Sent to AHL

Tolopilo was assigned to AHL Abbotsford on Sunday.

Tolopilo was called up by the Canucks on Saturday, but he'll head back to the minors ahead of Sunday's home game against Dallas. Arturs Silovs was recalled from Abbotsford on an emergency basis and will likely serve as Kevin Lankinen's backup Sunday.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Starting in Carolina

Hellebuyck will guard the road goal against the Hurricanes on Sunday, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.

Hellebuyck is coming off a 22-save performance in Friday's 6-1 win over New Jersey. He has a 37-8-3 record with six shutouts, a 1.99 GAA and a .927 save percentage through 48 appearances this season. Carolina ranks 11th in the league with 3.17 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Blue Jackets' Daniil Tarasov: Drawing start Sunday

Tarasov wills serve as the starting netminder during Sunday's road game against the Rangers, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

Tarasov has seen sporadic playing time in recent weeks, as he's made just one start since the start of February. However, he faced the Rangers on the road in mid-January and earned his first career shutout by turning aside all 26 shots he faced, albeit in a shootout loss. He'll attempt to maintain his success against the Blueshirts, who have lost their last two games in overtime.

  • Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Guarding goal Sunday

Quick will protect the home net against Columbus on Sunday, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.

Quick will get the second half of the Rangers' back-to-back after Igor Shesterkin played in Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Ottawa. The 39-year-old Quick has a 9-5-2 record with three shutouts, a 2.92 GAA and a .903 save percentage through 20 appearances this season. Columbus is tied for seventh in the league with 3.27 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Wild's Marc-Andre Fleury: Facing Penguins

Fleury will patrol the home crease against Pittsburgh on Sunday, per Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News.

Fleury has a 12-7-1 record with one shutout, a 2.76 GAA and a .904 save percentage through 21 appearances this season. The 40-year-old netminder plans to retire after the 2024-25 campaign, so this will probably be the final time he will share the ice with the Penguins. Fleury spent most of his career in Pittsburgh, playing 691 regular-season games there and winning three Stanley Cups.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Starting against Winnipeg

Andersen is starting Sunday's home game against the Jets, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Andersen and Pyotr Kochetkov have alternated starts recently, and that trend will continue against Winnipeg. Over his last five starts, Andersen has gone 1-4-0 with a 2.67 GAA and .894 save percentage. The Jets rank third in the NHL with 3.52 goals per game this season.

  • Ville Husso G | ANA

Ducks' Ville Husso: Brought up from minors

Husso was summoned from AHL San Diego on Sunday.

Husso's recall doesn't bode well for the availability of John Gibson (lower body) ahead of Sunday's home matchup versus the Islanders. Due to Gibson's absence, Husso was the backup behind Lukas Dostal in Friday's 4-3 loss to St. Louis.
