Sorokin will tend the road twine Saturday versus the Sharks, per Stefen Rosner of NHL.com.
Sorokin was solid in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Jets, turning aside 26 of 28 shots on goal. Across five career outings against San Jose, the Russian netminder has a 2-0-3 record with a .916 save percentage and a 2.52 GAA. San Jose is tied for 29th in the NHL with 2.63 goals per game, but the team has scored at least three goals in five straight contests. It won't be an easy task for Sorokin on Saturday.

Blues' Joel Hofer: Starting in Los Angeles
Hofer will protect the road crease Saturday versus the Kings, Matthew DeFranks of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Hofer surrendered three goals on nine shots in his last start Sunday versus Dallas before ceding the net to Jordan Binnington in the second period. Hofer holds an 11-7-2 record, .899 save percentage and 2.93 GAA over 23 appearances this season. The Kings have scored two goals or fewer in five straight games, giving Hofer a favorable chance to get back on the right track.

Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: First win since recall from AHL
Grubauer made 23 saves in 4-1 win over the Flyers on Saturday.
It was Grubauer's first NHL win since Dec. 30. Seattle waived him in late January following a poor start to the 2024-25 season. After clearing waivers, Grubauer reported to AHL Coachella Valley, where he went 5-2-0 with a 2.87 GAA and an .893 save percentage in seven games. His teammates stood tall for him Saturday, blocking 15 shots in a total team effort.

Blackhawks' Arvid Soderblom: Starting in Nashville
Soderblom will defend the road net against the Predators on Saturday, according to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Soderblom will get the second half of Chicago's back-to-back after Spencer Knight played in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over Utah. The 25-year-old Soderblom has posted a record of 8-15-6 with a 3.05 GAA and a .904 save percentage through 30 appearances this season. Nashville sits 29th in the league with 2.63 goals per game in 2024-25.

Stolarz allowed two goals on 18 shots in relief of Joseph Woll in Thursday's 5-2 loss to Vegas. The 31-year-old Stolarz is sporting a 13-5-3 record, .925 save percentage and 2.21 GAA over 23 appearances this season. Colorado sits sixth in the NHL with 3.30 goals per game in 2024-25. Stolarz will be presented with a tough task Saturday -- the Avalanche have won four straight games and bolstered their center depth with the additions of Brock Nelson and Charlie Coyle prior to Friday's trade deadline.

Toronto has produced 3.19 goals per game this season, which ranks 10th in the league. The Leafs have lost back-to-back games, while the Avalanche have won four straight.
