He has struggled this season after missing training camp in a contract dispute, and while he has played well during stretches of time in 2024-25, he has not come close to his play over the previous three campaigns. He could have an easier time of things Saturday, as the Ducks are last in NHL scoring, averaging 2.48 goals per game this season.

    Soderblom will protect the home crease versus Toronto on Sunday, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

    Soderblom is 7-12-5 with a 3.01 GAA and a .906 save percentage across 25 outings this season. He will face Toronto, which is 12th in NHL scoring, generating 3.07 goals per game this season.

    Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Starting in Columbus

    Mrazek will guard the road net Saturday against the Blue Jackets, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

    Mrazek will get the nod in Chicago's first game out of the break. He's gone 10-18-2 with an .897 save percentage and a 3.27 GAA this season. Mrazek will face a Columbus team that's averaging 3.21 goals per game.

    Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Between pipes Saturday

    Talbot will guard the home net versus Minnesota on Saturday.

    Talbot saw his five-game winning streak come to an end against Tampa Bay on Feb. 8, when he allowed three goals on 14 shots in relief of Alex Lyon. Talbot is 16-11-2 with a pair of shutouts, a 2.84 GAA and a .905 save percentage across 31 outings this season. The Wild are generating 2.88 goals per game, tied for 16th in the NHL in 2024-25.

  • Wild's Marc-Andre Fleury: Starting in Detroit

    Fleury will guard the road net Saturday against the Red Wings, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.

    Fleury will get the call for the Wild in their first game back from the 4 Nations Face-Off. The 40-year-old netminder is 11-6-1 with a .910 save percentage and a 2.57 GAA this season.

    Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Starting Sunday

    Woll will guard the road net Sunday in Chicago, Terry Koshan of The Toronto Sun reports.

    Anthony Stolarz will get the start Saturday in Toronto's first game back from the break, lining up Woll for a matchup with the Blackhawks on Sunday in the second leg of a back-to-back. The 26-year-old Woll is 19-11-0 this year with a .909 save percentage and a 2.65 GAA.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Drawing home start Saturday

    Ersson will defend the home goal Saturday against the Oilers, according to Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports.

    Ersson was outstanding Monday, stopping 32 shots in a 2-1 Sweden win over the United States at the 4 Nations Face-Off. He has struggled at times at the NHL level this season, going 16-10-3 with a 2.81 GAA and an .896 save percentage. He will face the Oilers, who are generating 3.31 goals per game, fourth in the NHL in 2024-25.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Starting Saturday

    Ullmark (illness) will be between the home pipes versus Montreal on Saturday, per Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

    Ullmark missed Sweden's last game of the 4 Nations Face-Off on Monday when he came down with the flu. He has lost his last two regular-season games after missing 19 contests with a back injury, allowing seven goals on 84 shots. Ullmark is 12-9-2 with three shutouts, a 2.49 GAA and a .915 save percentage across 25 appearances this season. Montreal is tied for 16th in the league with 2.88 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: First off ice Saturday

    Stolarz was the first goaltender off the ice at practice and will defend the home net versus Carolina on Saturday, per Mark Masters of TSN.

    Stolarz returned to action Feb. 6 after missing 24 games due to a knee injury and subsequent surgery. The 31-year-old netminder gave up only one goal on 27 shots in a 3-1 win over Seattle, pushing his record to 10-5-2 with a 2.08 GAA and an eye-popping .929 save percentage. The Hurricanes are generating 3.29 goals per game, tied for sixth in the NHL this season.

    Blues' Joel Hofer: Facing Jets

    Hofer will patrol the home crease versus Winnipeg on Saturday, according to Lou Korac of NHL.com.

    Hofer will get the start, giving Jordan Binnington extra rest after he backstopped Canada to victory in the 4 Nations Face-Off on Thursday. Hofer has lost his last three starts, allowing 11 goals and 100 shots. He is 10-7-1 with a 2.88 GAA and a .903 save percentage across 20 games this season. The Jets lead the NHL in scoring, averaging 3.61 goals per game this season.
