Filip Gustavsson G | MIN
Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Concedes once in win
Gustavsson allowed just one goal on 33 shots in Wednesday's 3-1 victory over Toronto.
Gustavsson has bounced back from a difficult mid-January to secure wins in each of his last two outings while posting a 1.51 GAA. The 26-year-old netminder has seen the bulk of the workload for the Wild this season and should continue to do so ahead of veteran Marc-Andre Fleury, who will get the starting nod against the Habs on Thursday in the second half of a back-to-back set.

Linus Ullmark G | OTT
Senators' Linus Ullmark: Not yet ready to suit up
Ullmark (back) won't be available to serve as a backup for Thursday's home game against the Capitals, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports.
Ullmark remains on long-term injured reserve due to his back injury, but he was working in a net during Thursday's morning skate, fueling speculation that he'd be cleared to serve as Anton Forsberg's backup. However, Ullmark will require at least one more game on the shelf, while Leevi Merilainen will serve as the No. 2 netminder against Washington. Ullmark's next chance to suit up will be at home against Minnesota on Saturday.

Anton Forsberg G | LA
Senators' Anton Forsberg: First goalie off Thursday
Forsberg was the first goalie to leave the ice Thursday, TSN 1200 Ottawa reports, indicating he'll be in goal at home versus Washington.
Forsberg has been seeing the bulk of the workload for Ottawa of late, appearing in four of the last five contests in which he posted a 2-1-0 record, 1.70 GAA and .935 save percentage. Still, with Linus Ullmark (back) poised to return soon -- perhaps even serving as the No. 2 Thursday -- Forsberg will likely find himself sharing the crease, at best, if not fully relegated to the backup role.

Isaac Poulter G | WPG
Devils' Isaac Poulter: Sent down by New Jersey
Poulter was assigned to AHL Utica on Thursday.
Poulter spent nearly a week with the Devils, but he didn't make his NHL debut during his time with the club. New Jersey has a few days off before facing the Sabres on the road Sunday, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Nico Daws recalled by the Devils ahead of that matchup to serve as Jake Allen's backup, per Amanda Stein of the Devils' official site.

Jake Allen G | NJ
Devils' Jake Allen: Stymies Flyers for third shutout
Allen turned aside 24 shots in Wednesday's 5-0 win over Philadelphia.
It was the third shutout of the season for the 34-year-old netminder, but his first since Nov. 4. Allen has held down the fort well since Jacob Markstrom was sidelined by a sprained MCL, going 3-1-0 with a 1.66 GAA and .938 save percentage while appearing in four straight games. The Devils don't play again until Sunday and have no back-to-back games before the break for the 4 Nations Face-Off, so Allen may not need to be spelled by backup Isaac Poulter during that stretch.

Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Gets hook in Wednesday's loss
Ersson allowed four goals on 16 shots before being replaced by Ivan Fedotov midway through the second period of Wednesday's 5-0 loss to the Devils.
After a scoreless first frame, the Flyers' defense completely collapsed in the second, and Ersson gave up two power-play tallies plus a goal on a coast-to-coast effort by Luke Hughes before mercifully being lifted. It was Ersson's second loss in his last three starts, a stretch in which he's been beaten 11 times on 85 shots (.871 save percentage). Head coach John Tortorella can sometimes have little patience with his goalies, so Ersson may need to turn things around quickly to keep hold of the No. 1 job and avoid falling into a timeshare with Fedotov.

Sergei Bobrovsky G | FLA
Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Blanks LA for second shutout
Bobrovsky made 29 saves in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Kings.
The shutout was his second of the season and the 46th of his career, putting him third among active goalies behind Marc-Andre Fleury (75) and Jonathan Quick (62). Bobrovsky has won three straight starts, and through nine outings in January he's gone 4-4-1 with a 2.46 GAA and .913 save percentage.
-
Darcy Kuemper G | LA
Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Gets no help in Wednesday's loss
Kuemper stopped 36 of 38 shots in Wednesday's 3-0 loss to the Panthers, with Florida's final goal getting scored into an empty net.
The veteran netminder had no chance on either puck that got past him, and the Kings' offense couldn't solve Sergei Bobrovsky in the other crease. Kuemper has just one win in his last five starts, going 1-3-1, but his 2.64 GAA and .906 save percentage during that stretch indicate the issues have more to do with Los Angeles' overall effort in front of him than his own play.

Connor Ingram G | EDM
Hockey Club's Connor Ingram: Drops result in overtime
Ingram surrendered three goals on 28 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Penguins.
Ingram couldn't make a pair of one-goal leads stand. He was beaten on a vintage Sidney Crosby backhand in overtime to take his third defeat in five outings since returning from an upper-body injury. Ingram is now at 8-6-4 with a 3.31 GAA and an .881 save percentage. He's done enough to challenge Karel Vejmelka for playing time, and it's possible Utah eventually goes to a 50-50 split for starts. The next game is Friday at home versus the Blue Jackets.

Alex Nedeljkovic G | SJ
Penguins' Alex Nedeljkovic: Wins in overtime
Nedeljkovic stopped 27 of 29 shots in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over Utah.
Nedeljkovic picked up his third win in five outings. He did a good job to keep the game close, with the Penguins bouncing back from a pair of one-goal deficits before Sidney Crosby finished off the win with a backhand shot in overtime. Nedeljkovic is up to 10-9-4 with a 3.15 GAA and an .896 save percentage over 24 appearances, but he's allowed more than two goals just once in his last five games. The Penguins will be back at home Saturday to face the Predators after wrapping up a seven-game road trip.
