Nedeljkovic will tend the twine on the road versus San Jose on Monday, Michelle Crechiolo of the Penguins' official site reports.
Nedeljkovic has underwhelmed this season, going 9-8-4 with a 3.26 GAA in 22 appearances. Despite the 29-year-old netminder's struggles, he remains the No. 1 option in Pittsburgh ahead of youngster Joel Blomqvist. Still, if Nedeljkovic can't string together some victories, Blomqvist could get an extended look in order for the team to fully evaluate his abilities.

The 27-year-old backstop has already reached the 20-win threshold for the third consecutive campaign and could be capable of topping the 30-win mark for the first time in his four-year NHL career. All of that comes despite the fact that Thompson has been splitting the workload with Charlie Lindgren all year.

Darcy Kuemper G | LA
Kings' Darcy Kuemper: Slated to start Monday
Kuemper is expected to start on the road against the Red Wings on Monday, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Kuemper wasn't on the ice during Monday's morning skate, and it appears as though he'll draw his third consecutive start. The 34-year-old is coming off an overtime loss to Columbus on Saturday in which he turned aside 21 of 24 shots (.875 save percentage). He's gone just 2-2-1 over his last five starts but has still performed relatively well during that time, posting a 1.82 GAA and .927 save percentage.

Stuart Skinner G | PIT
Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Absent from game-day skate
Skinner was not on the ice ahead of Monday's game versus Seattle while awaiting the birth of his child, Oilers play-by-play announcer Jack Michaels reports.
With Skinner away, the Oilers will roll with Calvin Pickard in net against the Kraken for Monday's home contest. At this point, it's probably a game-time decision whether Skinner will link up with the team to serve as the backup or if the club will recall a goalie, likely Collin Delia, from the minors for Monday's matchup.

However, he'll start for the second time in the last three games since Stuart Skinner is expecting the birth of his child shortly. Pickard made a start in Seattle on Jan. 4 and turned aside 16 of 18 shots (.889 save percentage) en route to a 4-2 win.

Laurent Brossoit G | SJ
Blackhawks' Laurent Brossoit: Could return this season
General manager Kyle Davidson said Monday that he's hopeful that Brossoit (knee) will be able to return at some point this season, Charlie Roumeliotis of WGN Radio reports.
Brossoit has dealt with a knee injury since the start of the regular season, and he's been out indefinitely after undergoing a procedure in late November. Although the Blackhawks haven't been particularly competitive this season, Davidson still maintains hope that Brossoit will be back in game action sometime during the final two and a half months of the regular season. Brossoit may not see considerable playing time if he's able to return, as Davidson also said Monday that he wouldn't be concerned with carrying three goaltenders on the active roster.
