  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Guarding goal Saturday

Lankinen was the first goaltender off the ice at morning skate and is slated to defend the home crease versus Washington on Saturday, per Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650.

Lankinen will make his first start in five games, as he has been out of the lineup with an illness. Lankinen has been Vancouver's best netminder this season, going 16-8-6 with four shutouts, a 2.63 GAA and a .903 save percentage, far superior to Thatcher Demko, who is 3-5-3 with a 3.47 GAA and a terrible .867 save percentage. The Capitals are second in NHL scoring, averaging 3.54 goals per game.

  • Sharks' Alexandar Georgiev: Starting vs. Panthers

Georgiev will guard the home net Saturday against Florida, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

Georgiev will look to get back on track after dropping his last three starts, struggling to an .875 save percentage in that span. It won't come easy against a Panthers team that's averaging 3.16 goals per game this season.

  • Jake Allen G | NJ

    Devils' Jake Allen: Facing Canadiens

Allen will defend the road net against Montreal on Saturday.

Allen stopped all 16 shots he faced in relief in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Boston after Jacob Markstrom (knee) suffered an injury. With Markstrom out 4-6 weeks, Allen should see plenty of starts. The 34-year-old Allen has a 6-8-1 record with two shutouts, a 2.66 GAA and a .901 save percentage through 15 appearances. Montreal sits 14th in the league with 3.02 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Starting in Boston

Wedgewood will guard the visiting cage in Boston on Saturday, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.

Wedgewood will make his second start in the last 11 games, as Mackenzie Blackwood is the undisputed No. 1 goaltender with the Avalanche. Wedgewood is 5-2-0 with a 2.44 GAA and a .914 save percentage with Colorado in eight appearances after he was dealt in November from Nashville. Boston is averaging only 2.72 goals per game in 2024-25, 26th in the NHL.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Earns win Friday

Oettinger stopped 18 of 21 shots in Friday's 4-3 win over the Golden Knights.

Oettinger didn't have his best performance from a statistical perspective, as he posted a save percentage below the .860 mark for the first time since a 5-4 loss to the Rangers on Jan. 7. However, the 26-year-old remains one of the most reliable goaltenders in the league due to his impressive consistency between the pipes. Oettinger has gone 3-2-0 over his last five outings, but he owns a solid 1.83 GAA and a .928 save percentage over that stretch. Fantasy managers should continue to trust him going forward, regardless of the opponent.

  • Adin Hill G | LV

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Another subpar showing

Hill stopped 23 of 27 shots in Friday's 4-3 loss to the Stars.

The Golden Knights have been rotating goaltenders in recent weeks, and Hill has started in only six of the team's 12 games in January. The recent results haven't been encouraging, as the 28-year-old is currently riding a three-game losing streak while posting a save percentage below .895 each time. He's gone 0-2-1 with a 3.70 GAA and an .867 save percentage amid the losing skid.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Facing Avalanche

Swayman will be in the home crease versus Colorado on Saturday, according to Joe MacDonald of The Hockey News.

Swayman will return to the lineup after missing Thursday's 2-0 win over Ottawa because of an upper-body injury. He is 15-16-4 with a 3.00 GAA and an .896 save percentage. The Avalanche will have newly acquired forwards Martin Necas and Jack Drury in the lineup following Friday's trade with Carolina. Colorado ranks eighth in the league with 3.29 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Guarding goal Saturday

Wolf will defend the visiting cage in Minnesota on Saturday, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

Wolf has been stellar in his last two starts, giving up three goals on 73 shots in wins over Winnipeg and Buffalo. Overall, the 23-year-old netminder is 17-7-2 with a pair of shutouts, a 2.49 GAA and a .918 save percentage. The Wild are generating 2.88 goals per game, tied for 20th in the NHL this season.

  • Ilya Sorokin G | NYI

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Excellent vs. Philadelphia

Sorokin stopped 29 of 30 shots in Friday's 3-1 win over the Flyers.

Sorokin was beaten in the first period by Tyson Foerster, but he was excellent the rest of the way to notch his second straight win and fourth out of his last five starts. The star netminder has posted a save percentage of at least .960 in each of his previous two appearances, and he owns a solid 4-2-0 record with a 2.01 GAA and a .929 save percentage in six starts this month.

  • Ivan Fedotov G | CLB

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: Losing streak continues

Fedotov stopped 24 of 27 shots in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Islanders.

Fedotov gave up two goals in a quick 55-second span in the final moments of the first period, and he allowed another one late in the second frame en route to his fourth straight loss. Over that span, the 28-year-old Finnish netminder has gone 0-2-2 with a 2.72 GAA and 86 saves on 97 shots faced (.887 save percentage).
