Alex Lyon G | BUF
Red Wings' Alex Lyon: Guarding goal in Philadelphia
Lyon will patrol the road crease against the Flyers on Tuesday, Helene St. James of the Detroit Free Press relays.
Lyon surrendered four goals in a loss to the Stars on Sunday. The 32-year-old will face a Flyers club that has put up 3.04 goals per game, which is tied for 12th in the NHL. In four career games against Philadelphia, Lyon has a 2-2-0 record, 2.96 GAA and .886 save percentage.

Connor Ingram G | EDM
Hockey Club's Connor Ingram: Makes 23 saves Monday
Ingram stopped 23 of 25 shots in Monday's 5-2 win over the Jets.
Ingram did an excellent job Monday and managed to slow down one of the best offenses in the NHL, as the Jets entered Monday's game ranking third in the league with 3.51 goals per contest in 2024-25. Ingram has posted back-to-back wins in his past two outings and has notched a save percentage of .915 or higher in his previous three appearances, so he's trending in the right direction following a lengthy absence.

Leevi Merilainen G | OTT
Senators' Leevi Merilainen: Between pipes Tuesday
Merilainen will defend the road cage Tuesday versus the Rangers, according to TSN 1200 Ottawa.
Merilainen had his worst outing of the season Saturday, conceding five goals on 28 shots, but he still came out with a win in a high-scoring affair against Boston. The Finnish netminder has only lost twice in regulation through nine outings in 2024-25, turning in two shutouts over those appearances. The Rangers are coming off a 5-4 overtime loss to Montreal on Sunday.

Connor Hellebuyck G | WPG
Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Sizzling streak ends Monday
Hellebuyck stopped 23 of 27 shots in Monday's 5-2 loss to Utah. The fifth goal was an empty-netter with 2:05 left in the third period.
Hellebuyck entered this game having gone 4-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and a .957 save percentage over his previous four starts, so he was bound to experience some kind of regression sooner rather than later. Even the best netminders have poor outings from time to time, and the 31-year-old is still one of the league's top goaltenders with a 28-7-2 record, 2.02 GAA and .927 save percentage through 37 appearances. Fantasy managers should continue to trust him every time he's guarding the Jets crease.

Petr Mrazek G | ANA
Blackhawks' Petr Mrazek: Makes 44 saves in overtime loss
Mrazek stopped 44 of 48 shots in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.
Mrazek had to settle with another loss, his third across his last four outings, but he shouldn't get much of the blame for the outcome of the contest based on his workload. The 44 saves were a season-high mark by a wide margin, and it's also worth noting Mrazek has recorded a save percentage of .910 or higher in three of his last five starts. The record doesn't back him up, as he's gone 2-2-1 with a 3.41 GAA in that span.

Frederik Andersen G | CAR
Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Earns win in return
Andersen stopped 22 of 25 shots in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Blackhawks.
Making his first start since Oct. 26 after undergoing knee surgery Nov. 22 and being activated off injured reserve Friday, Andersen looked good between the pipes and managed to secure the victory thanks to Sebastian Aho's game-winner in overtime. Andersen should eventually return to the starting role for the Hurricanes, and even though a five-game sample size isn't big enough, the numbers are promising. He's gone 4-1-0 with a 1.78 GAA and a .929 save percentage so far in 2024-25.

Sam Montembeault G | MON
Canadiens' Sam Montembeault: Between pipes against Bolts
Montembeault will tend the twine at home versus the Lightning on Tuesday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.
Montembeault has been underwhelming of late, going 2-2-1 with a 3.61 GAA and an .871 save percentage in his last five outings. Still, the 28-year-old backstop was solid the last time he faced Tampa Bay on Dec. 29, conceding just two goals on 23 shots in a winning effort. Of note, however, it was Jonas Johansson in the other goal that evening, but it will be Andrei Vasilevskiy opposite Montembeault in Tuesday's tilt.

Igor Shesterkin G | NYR
Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Gets starting nod versus Sens
Shesterkin will be between the pipes for Tuesday's home game against Ottawa, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
Shesterkin is undefeated in regulation over his last five outings, posting a 4-0-1 record, 1.73 GAA and one shutout along the way. He comes into Tuesday's tilt with an extra night off after Jonathan Quick played in Sunday's clash with Montreal. If the 29-year-old Shesterkin can keep his play from dipping, he may still be capable of reaching the 30-win mark for the fourth straight year -- though he is running out of time with just 15 victories in 32 outings thus far.

Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: In goal Tuesday
Ersson will get the starting nod at home against the Red Wings on Tuesday.
Ersson enters Tuesday's tilt riding a four-game winning streak during which he posted a 1.75 GAA, .920 save percentage and one shutout. A trip to New York to face the Islanders on Thursday and Rangers on Friday figures to give Ersson a night off, with Ivan Fedotov or Aleksei Kolosov expected to feature in one of those two contests.

Ilya Sorokin G | NYI
Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Concedes once in win
Sorokin allowed just one goal on 26 shots in a 3-1 victory over Columbus on Monday.
Sorokin certainly bounced back from his previous appearances, a 5-3 defeat to the Flyers on Jan. 16 in which he gave up four goals on 23 shots (.826 save percentage). It's been a solid January for the Russian netminder, as he is 3-2-0 with a .921 save percentage and one shutout in five outings. Sorokin should be expected to split the upcoming back-to-back with Marcus Hogberg, taking on either the Flyers on Friday or the Hurricanes on Saturday.
