Fabian Zetterlund LW | OTT
Senators' Fabian Zetterlund: Opens scoring Sunday
Zetterlund scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 7-1 win over the Golden Knights.
Zetterlund opened the scoring at 9:25 of the first period. He had been limited to one assist over his previous seven contests. The 26-year-old winger's drop in offense in January has led to him moving down to the fourth line, though he's still in the mix for power-play time. Zetterlund is at 12 goals, 22 points, 89 shots on net, 98 hits and a minus-6 rating over 52 appearances.

Nick Lardis LW | CHI
Blackhawks' Nick Lardis: Reassigned to minors
Lardis was sent down to AHL Rockford on Monday, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Lardis became expendable on the roster after Teuvo Teravainen (upper body) was cleared to return versus the Wild on Tuesday. In 21 NHL games, the 20-year-old Lardis has managed five goals on 32 shots and two assists, including a trio of power-play points. He's been significantly more productive with the IceHogs, racking up 26 points in 25 minor-league outings.

Victor Mancini D | VAN
Canucks' Victor Mancini: Called up Monday
Mancini was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Monday.
Mancini spent the past week in the minors but will rejoin Vancouver after Zeev Buium (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Monday. Over nine appearances with the NHL club this year, Mancini has recorded zero points, 12 blocked shots, seven hits and five PIM while averaging 13:12 of ice time.

Brock Boeser RW | VAN
Canucks' Brock Boeser: Moves to IR
Boeser (head) was placed on injured reserve Monday.
Vancouver recalled Jonathan Lekkerimaki from AHL Abbotsford in a corresponding move. Boeser suffered the injury in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Pittsburgh. He will miss at least the next three games, starting with Tuesday's matchup against San Jose, but it's unclear when he will be ready to return to the lineup. He has produced 12 goals, 25 points, 114 shots on net and 30 hits through 50 appearances this season.

Zeev Buium D | VAN
Canucks' Zeev Buium: Designated for IR
Buium was placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury Monday.
Buium has appeared in 20 games for the Canucks since being acquired from the Wild in the Quinn Hughes deal. The 20-year-old Buium logged 15:41 of ice time in Sunday's contest versus the Penguins, which is a little on the low side but not completely out of sorts. While Buium will have to miss the next three games for sure, the team could opt to keep him out until after the Olympic break, depending on the severity of his injury.

Jonathan Lekkerimaki RW | VAN
Canucks' Jonathan Lekkerimaki: Recalled by Vancouver
Lekkerimaki was recalled from AHL Abbotsford on Monday.
Lekkerimaki was sent to the minors in early December, but he'll rejoin the NHL club nearly two months later to provide additional depth after Brock Boeser (head) was placed on injured reserve Monday. Lekkerimaki has appeared in eight games for Vancouver this season, recording a goal, an assist, six hits and three blocked shots while averaging 10:53 of ice time.

Anton Blidh LW | NYR
Rangers' Anton Blidh: Sent down Monday
Blidh was assigned to AHL Hartford on Monday.
Blidh spent the past week with the NHL club but appeared in just one game during that time. He recorded his first point at the NHL level since the 2021-22 season with an assist during Friday's loss to the Sharks, but he should have more consistent opportunities to contribute in the minors.
-
Connor Mackey D | NYR
Rangers' Connor Mackey: Elevated from minors
Mackey was called up by the Rangers on Monday.
Mackey figures to serve as an emergency depth option versus the Bruins on Monday while Carson Soucy is being held out ahead of a potential trade. The 29-year-old Mackey has yet to get into an NHL game this year. If he does play at some point, it would likely come at the expense of Urho Vaakanainen.
-
Otto Stenberg C | STL
Blues' Otto Stenberg: Shipped down to minors
Stenberg was demoted to AHL Springfield on Monday.
Stenberg's demotion could be an indication that Dylan Holloway (ankle) could be ready to play against the Stars on Tuesday. In 18 NHL games this year, the 20-year-old Stenberg has tallied one goal, seven assists and 17 shots while also dishing out 33 hits. This likely won't be the last time Stenberg suits up for the Blues this year.

Carson Soucy D | NYI
Rangers' Carson Soucy: Won't play Monday
Soucy will be held out of Monday's game vesus Boston ahead of a reported trade, Colin Stephenson of Newsday reports.
According to reports, Soucy is going to be traded to the Islanders, though the terms of the deal haven't been announced yet. Offensively, Soucy is limited, producing just three helpers during a 22-game goal drought, but he should serve as a shutdown defender for the Islanders once he's flipped to his new club.
