  • Marco Kasper C | DET

Red Wings' Marco Kasper: One of each in Saturday's win

Kasper scored a goal on three shots, added an assist, logged six hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Jets.

Kasper's offense has improved recently with two goals and four assists over his last five games. That has helped him get back into a top-six role, though the first-line left wing spot he's currently in has been a revolving door for the Red Wings this season. Kasper is up to five goals, 12 points, 80 shots on net, 120 hits, 31 blocked shots, 29 PIM and a minus-9 rating over 52 appearances. He's been hit hard by the sophomore slump, but if he can sustain his recent success, he'll be a good waiver-wire pickup.

  • Tim Stutzle LW | OTT

Senators' Tim Stutzle: Scores lone goal in loss

Stutzle scored a goal on five shots, added three hits and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes.

Stutzle prevented Brandon Bussi from getting a shutout by scoring at 12:11 of the second period. Stutzle has been good lately with four goals and three assists over his last seven contests. The 24-year-old center is up to 23 goals, 52 points, 129 shots on net, 82 hits, 34 blocked shots, 31 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 51 appearances. He should continue to be a good all-around option in fantasy.

  • Hurricanes' William Carrier: Puts away goal

Carrier scored a goal in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Senators.

Carrier picked up his first goal in three contests since he returned from a lower-body injury that cost him four games. He has three goals over his last six outings, though Carrier's fourth-line role will keep him from being too much of a regular on offense. The winger is up to six goals, 11 points, 50 shots on net, 98 hits, 14 PIM and a plus-5 rating over 41 appearances in 2025-26. Aside from a drop in physicality, those numbers are nearly identical to his work in 43 regular-season outings last year.

  • Taylor Hall LW | CAR

Hurricanes' Taylor Hall: Finds twine in win

Hall scored a goal and added 12 PIM in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Senators.

Hall has five goals and five assists over 13 contests in January. The 34-year-old winger got a bit heated and earned a misconduct penalty Saturday, leading to just 9:59 of ice time, his lowest mark since Nov. 15 versus the Oilers. Hall has been filling a middle-six role lately while also featuring on the power play. He's at 27 points, 85 shots on net, 30 hits, 21 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating across 52 appearances, production good enough for consideration as a depth forward in fantasy.

  • Hurricanes' Andrei Svechnikov: Strikes on power play

Svechnikov scored a power-play goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Senators.

Svechnikov has six goals and two assists over his last five games. He's earned four of those eight points on the power play. The 25-year-old winger still runs streaky at times, but he's been more good than bad lately. Overall, Svechnikov has 18 goals, 43 points, 141 shots on net, 90 hits, 38 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 52 appearances.

  • Jake Evans C | MON

Canadiens' Jake Evans: Gets first helper since return

Evans logged an assist in Saturday's 4-3 loss to the Bruins.

Evans picked up his first point in four games since returning from a lower-body injury. He missed 13 contests with the issue, and he's retaken a third-line spot. The 29-year-old has 11 points, 38 shots on net, 45 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating over 38 appearances this season. Evans should be a regular in the lineup thanks to his defensive prowess.

  • Lightning's Declan Carlile: Could see role increase

Carlile's point drought extended to 13 games in Saturday's 8-5 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Carlile has just two helpers over 20 appearances during his current stint in the NHL. Despite the lack of offense, he may be pressed into a larger role as the Lightning deal with a potential availability crisis on the blue line. Max Crozier (illness) was out Saturday, while Charle-Edouard D'Astous (undisclosed) and Erik Cernak (upper body) left the contest with injuries. The Lightning are also missing Victor Hedman (elbow), Emil Lilleberg (undisclosed) and Ryan McDonagh (lower body) at this time, and it's unclear who will fill out the blue line for Monday's game versus the Mammoth. Carlile has three points over 29 outings but may end up getting top-four minutes if none of the injured defensemen are available.

  • Blackhawks' Teuvo Teravainen: Not cleared for contact

Teravainen (upper body) took part in morning skate wearing a non-contact jersey and is unlikely to play Sunday against the Panthers, Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Teravainen has missed the last five games with injury, and it looks like his absence will extend for at least a sixth game. Given that the 31-year-old has yet to be cleared for contact, it would seem his return is still at least a few days away. Teravainen has pieced together a solid season, registering 21 points (nine goals, 12 assists) in 45 games.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Set to start Sunday

Knight will protect the home net against Florida on Sunday, per Jack Bushman of Chicago Hockey Now.

Knight has won his last two outings while stopping 60 of the 63 shots he has faced. He has a 15-13-6 record during the 2025-26 campaign with a 2.54 GAA, a .913 save percentage and three shutouts across 34 appearances. Florida is tied for 21st in the league with 2.98 goals per game this season, but the Panthers are coming off a 4-3 overtime win over Minnesota on Saturday.

  • Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Puts up pair of helpers

Hagel logged two assists, two shots on goal and two hits in Saturday's 8-5 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Hagel has three goals and five assists during a five-game point streak. He's earned just one of those points, a helper, on the power play. The 27-year-old winger continues to be a huge part of the Lightning's offense while filling a top-six role. For the season, he's earned 25 goals, 49 points, 132 shots on net, 35 hits, 24 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a plus-27 rating over 45 appearances.
