  • Lightning's Brandon Hagel: Puts up pair of helpers

Hagel logged two assists, two shots on goal and two hits in Saturday's 8-5 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Hagel has three goals and five assists during a five-game point streak. He's earned just one of those points, a helper, on the power play. The 27-year-old winger continues to be a huge part of the Lightning's offense while filling a top-six role. For the season, he's earned 25 goals, 49 points, 132 shots on net, 35 hits, 24 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a plus-27 rating over 45 appearances.

  • Blue Jackets' Kirill Marchenko: Pockets pair of assists

Marchenko logged two assists, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 8-5 win over the Lightning.

Marchenko has two goals and six assists over his last seven outings. The 25-year-old winger is up to 18 goals, 43 points, 146 shots on net, 38 hits, 30 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 47 appearances. Marchenko is a fixture on the Blue Jackets' top line and should come close to matching his 31-goal, 74-point breakout from 2024-25.

  • Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Earns share of blue-line point lead

Werenski notched two assists and three shots on goal in Saturday's 8-5 win over the Lightning.

Werenski is now tied with Cale Makar and Evan Bouchard atop the points list for defensemen -- all have 55, though Werenski has done it in fewer games than the other two. This was his fourth multi-point effort in January. For the season, the 28-year-old is at 19 goals, 36 helpers, 170 shots on net, 61 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating. Injuries are the only thing that have slowed down Werenski over recent years, and he's managed to limit his absences to four games in 2025-26, setting him up to match his 82-point effort from last season.

  • Sean Monahan C | CLB

Blue Jackets' Sean Monahan: Fills empty net

Monahan scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Saturday's 8-5 win over the Lightning.

This was Monahan's second goal in the last three games. The 31-year-old's move down to the second line has made it tougher for him to contribute regularly on offense. He's produced eight goals, 24 points, 76 shots on net, 27 hits, 22 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 47 appearances. Monahan's on pace for closer to 40 points rather than matching the 19-goal, 57-point campaign he put up in just 54 outings in 2024-25.

  • Predators' Jonathan Marchessault: Tallies again in loss

Marchessault scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Mammoth.

Marchessault has scored in back-to-back games. It remains to be seen if this will turn into a sustained run of offense -- the winger remains in a third-line role at even strength. He's produced nine goals, three assists, 69 shots on net, 46 hits and a minus-19 rating across 32 outings this season.

  • Olli Maatta D | CGY

Mammoth's Olli Maatta: Stuck in press box

Maatta was scratched for the 16th consecutive game in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Maatta returned from an upper-body injury Dec. 12 versus the Kraken and played in three straight games. Since then, he's been scratched in favor of Nick DeSimone. As long as the Mammoth's defense stays healthy, it will be tough for Maatta to carve out a full-time role. Even an injury may not open a door if the team opts to bring up Dmitri Simashev or Maveric Lamoureux for a look with the big club. Maatta has just one assist with nine shots on net and 16 blocked shots over 19 outings this season.

  • Mammoth's Michael Carcone: Buries goal in win

Carcone scored a goal and added two hits in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Carcone snapped a three-game dry spell with the tally. He has four goals and an assist over his last 10 outings, providing decent depth scoring from a third-line role. The 29-year-old has racked up 10 goals, 18 points, 97 shots on net, 78 hits and a plus-3 rating over 49 contests.

  • Mammoth's JJ Peterka: Deposits empty-netter

Peterka scored an empty-net goal in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

The tally was awarded, and the winger finished the game with no official shots on net. Peterka has three goals and two assists over his last seven games. He's seeing consistent middle-six minutes and a bit of power-play time. For the season, he's up to 18 goals, 34 points, 104 shots on net and a plus-9 rating through 51 contests.

  • Clayton Keller RW | UTA

Mammoth's Clayton Keller: Lights lamp Saturday

Keller scored a goal on four shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Keller has racked up four goals, 13 assists, 30 shots and a plus-16 rating over 11 contests in January. The 27-year-old winger was inconsistent early in the season, but this hot stretch, which has been going for over a month, has gotten him back on track. The American has 50 points (16 goals, 34 helpers), 142 shots on net and a plus-19 rating over 51 appearances.

  • Sabres' Michael Kesselring: Nabs helper Saturday

Kesselring logged an assist, three blocked shots and two PIM in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Islanders.

Kesselring has been working back to full strength after an ankle injury cost him most of January. That's his third lengthy absence of the season. Kesselring has mostly worked in a third-pairing role on Buffalo's deep blue line, picking up one assist, 26 shots on net, 27 blocked shots, 16 hits and 23 PIM over 19 outings.
