Kasper scored in the third period to give the Red Wings a 3-2 lead, but they couldn't make it last. The 21-year-old could be in line for a significant boost in ice time if Dylan Larkin and Andrew Copp are unavailable for Thursday's game against the Lightning due to their respective leg injuries. In 64 outings this season, Kasper has earned 16 points, 104 shots on net, 143 hits, 43 blocked shots, 29 PIM and a minus-10 rating.

Forsling logged an assist and three shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Red Wings.

Forsling had gone nine games without a point prior to Tuesday. The 29-year-old defenseman has worn the Panthers' struggles this season, perhaps more than most of the team's players. The defensive stalwart has 22 points, 85 shots on net, 76 blocked shots, 45 PIM, 42 hits and a minus-6 rating over 64 appearances, putting him at risk of missing the 30-point mark for the first time in five years.

Mikkola scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Red Wings.

Mikkola has just three goals this season, two of which have come over his last three contests. The 29-year-old defenseman won't sustain his recent success on offense, but he offers some upside in deep fantasy formats thanks to his physical play. He's now at 11 points, 64 shots on net, 104 hits, 75 blocked shots, 45 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 64 appearances.

Acciari scored a goal on two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Hurricanes.

Acciari ended a nine-game point drought with the tally. The 34-year-old continues to play regularly on the Penguins' fourth line and penalty kill. He's contributed seven goals and 16 points over 50 appearances, which is already his best output in three years with the Penguins. Acciari has added 67 shots on net, 51 hits, 40 blocked shots, 21 PIM and a plus-9 rating this season.

Eklund is questionable for Thursday's game against Boston due to a lower-body injury, per Max Miller of NHL.com.

Eklund didn't participate in Wednesday's practice. He has 11 goals and 38 points across 58 outings in 2025-26. If Eklund can't play Thursday, then Pavol Regenda might draw back into the lineup.

Mantha scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Hurricanes.

Mantha has three goals over the last two games, stepping up to help a depleted forward group maintain its offense. The 31-year-old winger has had a good bounce-back campaign with 24 goals, 48 points, 118 shots on net, 41 hits, 33 blocked shots and a plus-17 rating through 64 appearances. Most importantly, he's stayed healthy, which has often not been the case throughout his career.

Knight (illness) is an option to play in Thursday's road game against Utah, per Tracey Myers of NHL.com.

Drew Commesso was returned to AHL Rockford on Wednesday, which leaves Chicago with two goaltenders between Knight and Arvid Soderblom. The 24-year-old Knight has a 16-18-8 record, 2.63 GAA and .908 save percentage in 42 outings in 2025-26. He last played March 3, when Knight stopped 29 of 32 shots en route to a 3-2 overtime loss to Winnipeg.

Commesso was reassigned to AHL Rockford on Wednesday, per Mario Tirabassi of CHGO Sports.

Commesso stopped 23 of 25 shots in a 3-2 overtime victory over Utah on Monday. He improved to 2-1-0 with a 2.31 GAA and a .918 save percentage in three appearances with the Blackhawks in 2025-26. Commesso was with the team because Spencer Knight (illness) was unavailable, but with Knight ready to return for Thursday's rematch against Utah, Commesso is returning to the minors.

Reilly logged an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.

Reilly has filled in for Shayne Gostisbehere (lower body) over the last two games and will continue to do so for a while longer. The 32-year-old Reilly has seen limited playing time since the Hurricanes' defense has been mostly healthy since early December. Over 31 appearances this season, Reilly has earned eight points, 48 shots on net, 28 blocked shots, 16 PIM, 15 hits and a plus-11 rating.

Jankowski scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins.

Jankowski had been limited to two assists over his previous eight appearances. The 31-year-old continues to have the inside edge for time on the fourth line, often playing over Jesperi Kotkaniemi. Jankowski is up to 15 points, 46 shots on net, 32 hits, 34 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating over 51 outings, making this the third year in a row he's earned at least 15 points.
