Sharks' William Eklund: Cleared for Thursday's clash
Eklund (lower body) will play in Thursday's road clash against the Bruins, per Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.
After missing Wednesday's practice with a lower-body injury, Eklund stated that he'll be back in the lineup tonight. The 23-year-old winger has 27 assists, 38 points, 143 shots on net, 50 hits and 44 blocked shots across 58 games this season. He'll likely step back into his role on the Sharks' second line Thursday and look to find his form again offensively after posting multiple point streaks over his last 12 games.

Wild's Bobby Brink: Game-time call
Brink (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision versus the Flyers on Thursday, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.
There is no update on Brink, but he is expected to play, if he feels good. Brink potted his first goal in three games for the Wild, after he was dealt at the trade deadline from Philadelphia. Brink has 14 goals and 13 assists across 58 games between Minnesota and Philadelphia this season. Should Brink not play, look for Nico Sturm or Robby Fabbri to take his place in the lineup.

Penguins' Alexander Alexeyev: Back in NHL
Alexeyev was recalled from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Thursday, per Dave Molinari of Pittsburgh Hockey Now.
Alexeyev had three goals and seven points in 29 AHL games this season. He is expected to be an extra defenseman for the Penguins. Pittsburgh sent Ryan Graves to the AHL on a conditioning stint in a corresponding move.

Oettinger was the first goalie off the ice at Thursday's morinng skate, indicating he'll draw the home start against the Oilers, per Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine.
Oettinger is in line to start his second consecutive game after posting a 26-save victory over the Golden Knights on Tuesday. He has excelled since the Olympic break with a 3-0-1 record, a 1.95 GAA and a .918 save percentage across his last four starts. Overall, he has a 26-10-5 record, a 2.65 GAA and an .899 save percentage across 41 outings this season. He'll look to carry his momentum into a difficult matchup with the Oilers, who rank second in the NHL with 3.55 goals per game this season.

Graves has played only twice since Dec. 14 and has been a healthy scratch in 11 straight games. He could see AHL action for up to two weeks before he must return to the Penguins. Graves has one goal in 19 NHL games this season.

Merzlikins will make his second straight start after stopping 16 shots in a 5-2 win in Tampa Bay on Tuesday. Merzlikins is 13-9-2 with a 3.47 GAA and an .884 save percentage over 26 appearances this season. The Panthers are 19th in NHL scoring, averaging 2.98 goals per contest.
