  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Practices, could return in Round 1

Draisaitl (lower body) participated in Monday's morning skate and should return to the lineup sometime in the opening round of the playoffs, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.

Draisaitl is on long-term injured reserve, and an exact date for his return remains unclear. He has been out since March 15 due to the injury, but he has been making some progress. Draisaitl finished the 2025-26 regular season with 35 goals and 97 points in 65 appearances.

  • Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Will play against Flyers

Miller (undisclosed) is expected to be in the lineup versus Philadelphia on Monday.

Miller returns to action after sitting out versus the Mammoth on Saturday. With just two games left on the schedule, the St. Paul native may not hit the 40-point threshold, but he has still managed to put up his highest point total (37) since 2022-23 when he had 43 points in 79 regular-season outings for the Rangers.

  • Hurricanes' Jalen Chatfield: Ready to rock

Chatfield (lower body) is poised to return to the lineup against Philadelphia on Monday, according to Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.

Following a two-game absence, Chatfield will skate on the top pairing against the Flyers on Monday. Carolina is resting Jaccob Slavin (undisclosed) and Shayne Gostisbehere (undisclosed) in the contest. Chatfield has two goals, 17 points, 99 shots on net, 62 blocked shots and 36 hits in 71 outings this campaign.

  • Hurricanes' Mark Jankowski: Returning to action Monday

Jankowski (undisclosed) will return to the lineup for Monday's game against the Flyers, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Jankowski sat out Saturday's game against the Mammoth for an undisclosed reason, but he'll return to action two days later. The Hurricanes appear to be managing his workload late in the regular season, and while it's unclear whether he'll play in Tuesday's regular-season finale against the Islanders, he should be available for the start of the playoffs.

  • Hurricanes' Andrei Svechnikov: Unavailable Monday

Svechnikov won't be available Monday versus the Flyers for an undisclosed reason.

Svechnikov has scored in six of his last seven outings, including four tallies with the man advantage. With several players getting the night off, Taylor Hall could be pressed into a first-line role and figures to log time with one of the two power-play units. Svechnikov almost certainly will be back for the playoffs, but he should be considered questionable versus the Islanders on Tuesday.

  • Hurricanes' William Carrier: Expected to play Monday

Carrier (undisclosed) will return to action against Philadelphia on Monday, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.

Carrier missed Saturday's 4-1 win over Utah for maintenance. He has provided seven goals, 18 points, 77 shots on net and 168 hits in 68 outings during the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Jets' Connor Hellebuyck: Slated to start Monday

Hellebuyck is slated to start Monday's road game against Vegas, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Hellebuyck was pulled after the second period of Saturday's home game against Philadelphia after allowing five goals on 20 shots (.750 save percentage). Aside from that outing, he's been relatively effective in April, going 3-2-0 with a 2.81 GAA and .874 save percentage over five starts. He's made a pair of home starts against the Golden Knights this year, going 1-0-1 with five goals allowed on 58 shots.

  • Jackson Blake RW | CAR

Hurricanes' Jackson Blake: Draws back in Monday

Blake (undisclosed) is slated to play against Philadelphia on Monday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

After being absent from Saturday's 4-1 win over the Mammoth, Blake will occupy a first-line spot and see time on the top power-play unit against the Flyers on Monday. He has notched 22 goals and 52 points in 79 appearances this season.

  • Hurricanes' Jaccob Slavin: Sidelined for Monday's game

Slavin has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Flyers for an undisclosed reason, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Slavin will be out for the second time in the Hurricanes' last three games, as the team is resting several key players in the penultimate game of the regular season. Whether he'll suit up Tuesday against the Islanders remains to be seen, but he should be back in action for the start of the playoffs.

  • Jordan Staal C | CAR

Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Dealing with undisclosed injury

Staal will not be in the lineup versus the Flyers on Monday for an undisclosed reason.

Staal could probably play through the issue if this was a playoff game, but the Hurricanes have been resting much of their roster ahead of the postseason. He did deal with an undisclosed injury prior to the Hurricanes making significant lineup changes, but he has managed to play in two of the previous four games. With a back-to-back on the schedule, it's unclear if Staal will suit up in the season finale versus the Islanders on Tuesday.
