  • Senators' Xavier Bourgault: Hat trick for Belleville

Bourgault scored three goals in AHL Belleville's 7-6 overtime win over Laval on Friday.

Bourgault has five goals over his last three games. The 23-year-old forward has broken out to the tune of 23 goals, 54 points, 174 shots on net and a minus-15 rating with Belleville in his fourth AHL campaign. He's looked good in most areas but clearly still has some more to prove to get another NHL look after making two appearances with Ottawa earlier this season.

  • Jack Nesbitt C | PHI

Flyers' Jack Nesbitt: Tallies twice in OHL win

Nesbitt scored two goals in OHL Windsor's 4-2 win over Flint in Game 1 on Friday.

Nesbitt has done alright so far in the postseason, earning four goals and two assists over five games. He had 25 goals and 58 points in 55 regular-season appearances, down from his 64-point regular season in 2024-25, so a strong playoff run is important for his continued development.

  • Flames' Ethan Wyttenbach: Top rookie in NCAA

Wyttenbach was named the Tim Taylor Award winner Friday as the NCAA's top freshman for 2025-26, Scott Wheeler of The Athletic

With Quinnipiac University, Wyttenbach led the NCAA in points this season, earning 25 goals and 34 assists over 40 appearances. The Flames prospect has already committed to returning to Quinnipiac for his sophomore year, where he'll look to duplicate his impressive campaign.

  • Stars' Miro Heiskanen: Will miss rest of regular season

Heiskanen (lower body) has been ruled out for Dallas' final three regular-season games, Robert Tiffin of D Magazine reports Friday.

Heiskanen will complete the regular season with nine goals and 63 points in 77 outings. That's his best showing offensively since 2022-23 (11 goals, 73 points). Dallas is still hoping to get Heiskanen back during the first round of the playoffs. In the meantime, Alex Petrovic might draw into the lineup.

  • Joey Daccord G | SEA

    Kraken's Joey Daccord: Being evaluated

Daccord missed Friday's practice and is being evaluated due to an undisclosed injury, per Mike Benton of the Kraken Audio Network.

Benton added that Daccord was sore after stopping 32 of 35 shots en route to a 4-3 shootout win over Vegas on Thursday. The 29-year-old Daccord has a 20-20-6 record, 3.03 GAA and .896 save percentage in 47 appearances this season. Seattle might find itself without Daccord, Philipp Grubauer (lower body) and Matt Murray (personal) for Saturday's home game against Calgary. In that scenario, Niklas Kokko would probably get the start, and the Kraken would need to recall another goaltender to serve as the understudy.

  • Oilers' Jason Dickinson: Won't be available Saturday

Dickinson (leg) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Kings, Bob Stauffer of the Oilers Radio Network reports.

Dickinson exited Wednesday's game against the Sharks after taking a blocked shot to the back of his leg, and he needed to be helped off the ice. Head coach Kris Knoblauch said Friday that Dickinson doesn't yet have a timetable to return, but the 30-year-old will be unavailable for at least one game. Curtis Lazar will likely enter the lineup against Los Angeles.

  • Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Set for conditioning stint

Kochetkov (hip) was assigned to AHL Chicago on Friday for a conditioning stint.

Kochetkov has been sidelined since Dec. 20 due to a hip injury that required surgery, but the Hurricanes have been optimistic that the netminder would be an option for the playoffs. The 26-year-old will have an opportunity to work with the AHL club late in the NHL regular season, which signals that he's progressing in his recovery and could be cleared to rejoin the Hurricanes at some point during postseason play.

  • Logan Cooley C | UTA

Mammoth's Logan Cooley: Picks up pair of helpers

Cooley posted two assists in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Predators.

Cooley's point streak is up to six games (six goals, five assists). He helped out on Kailer Yamamoto's first-period tally as well as a Nick Schmaltz power-play goal in the middle frame. Cooley's surge has him up to 41 points, 96 shots on net, 51 hits, 26 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 50 appearances this season.

  • Mammoth's Kailer Yamamoto: Puts away goal Thursday

Yamamoto scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Predators.

Yamamoto has scored twice and added two assists over four outings in April. The 27-year-old winger is getting steady time in a second-line role lately, which explains his extra success on offense. He's up to 12 goals, 22 points, 50 shots on net, 42 hits and a plus-14 rating over 55 appearances.

  • Lawson Crouse LW | UTA

Mammoth's Lawson Crouse: Pots goal in win

Crouse scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Predators.

Crouse has two goals and two assists over his last three games. The winger continues to get points in bursts, and he's looked very good when in a top-line role this season. He's up to 22 goals, 42 points, 133 shots on net, 206 hits, 51 blocked shots, 44 PIM and a plus-23 rating over 77 appearances. That matches his 2023-24 point total, a full rebound after he was limited to 18 points in 81 outings a year ago. He's also above the 200-hit threshold for the first time since 2019-20.
