  • Devils' Jacob Markstrom: Set to miss rest of regular season

Head coach Sheldon Keefe announced Friday that Markstrom (undisclosed) will miss the remainder of the regular season to rest and rehab nagging injuries.

The Devils have been eliminated from postseason contention, and Markstrom will be shut down for the team's final three games of the year due to his lingering injuries. Across 44 appearances during the 2025-26 campaign, Markstrom went 23-19-1 with a 3.07 GAA and .883 save percentage. His ratios were his lowest marks since the 2014-15 campaign, but he'll attempt to bounce back next year, and he remains under contract with the Devils until 2027-28.

  • Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau: Tallies in Thursday's win

Pageau scored a goal on two shots and added four hits in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Maple Leafs.

Pageau has two goals and two assists over his last five contests. The 33-year-old center continues to fill a third-line role, offering steady depth offense with physicality. He's up to 17 goals -- his most in the last four years -- while adding 18 assists, 78 shots on net, 112 hits and 51 blocked shots over 71 appearances.

  • Islanders' Brayden Schenn: Scores early in win

Schenn scored a goal on three shots and added four hits in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Maple Leafs.

Schenn scored just 2:08 into the game to give the Islanders a hot start. He has four goals and three assists over his last six outings. The 34-year-old forward is up to 39 points, 114 shots on net, 172 hits, 41 blocked shots, 66 PIM and a minus-29 rating across 77 appearances between the Islanders and the Blues. He's earned 11 points in 16 games for the Islanders, showing a stronger level of scoring as a fixture on their second line.

  • Roope Hintz LW | DAL

Stars' Roope Hintz: Out for remainder of regular season

Hintz (lower body) is expected to miss the remainder of the regular season and is questionable for Game 1 of the postseason, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Hintz has missed the last 17 games with the injury. He has 15 goals and 29 assists across 53 appearances this season. Once he returns for Stanley Cup playoff action, he should return to his role as a top-two center.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Questionable for Saturday

Lindgren (upper body) partook in a full practice Friday and is questionable for Saturday's tilt in Pittsburgh, Tom Gulitti of NHL.com reports.

Lindgren was pummeled Sunday, allowing eight goals on 33 shots in an 8-1 loss to the Rangers. It was his first action since March 12, and the netminder was not in uniform Wednesday against the Maple Leafs. Head coach Spencer Carbery said Friday that Lindgren is still day-to-day. He is 9-8-3 with a 3.52 GAA and an .879 save percentage across 21 games this season.

  • Senators' Jake Sanderson: Two helpers against Cats

Sanderson pocketed two assists, one on the power play, in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Panthers.

The 23-year-old blueliner delivered his second straight multi-point effort, helping to set up tallies by Drake Batherson in the first period and Artem Zub in the third. Sanderson has two goals and five points in four games since returning from an upper-body injury, and on the season he has 13 goals and 53 points in just 66 contests, putting him four points away from tying the career-high 57 he recorded in 2024-25, with three games left in the regular season for the Senators.

  • Senators' Fabian Zetterlund: Lights lamp twice in win

Zetterlund scored two goals, one the game-winner, in Thursday's 5-1 win over Florida.

The 26-year-old winger produced his first multi-goal performance since Dec. 21 while extending his modest point streak to three games. Zetterlund has fallen to a bottom-six role over the course of the season, and through 79 contests he's managed 16 goals and 31 points, his lowest output since 2022-23.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Sharp in Thursday's win

Ullmark made 22 saves in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Panthers.

Jesper Boqvist spoiled his shutout bid late in the third period on a shot that Ullmark still got a piece of. The 32-year-old netminder has won three straight starts as the Senators inch closer to locking up a playoff spot, and over his last 12 outings Ullmark has gone 8-3-1 with a 2.57 GAA and .904 save percentage.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Sunk by Sens

Bobrovsky turned aside 21 of 25 shots in Thursday's 5-1 loss to Ottawa, with the Senators' fourth goal getting scored into an empty net.

The veteran netminder came up with some big stops to keep the game close through two periods, but the Panthers' patchwork blue line eventually fell apart in the third. Bobrovsky has given up four or more goals in four of his last seven outings, going 3-4-0 over that stretch with a 3.36 GAA and .867 save percentage as Florida plays out the string on a disappointing season.

  • Devils' Topias Vilen: Recalled from AHL

Vilen was summoned from AHL Utica on Friday.

The Devils are down to six healthy defensemen as Luke Hughes (undisclosed) and Brett Pesce (lower body) appear to be out for the remainder of the season. Vilen, who could make his NHL debut in one of the final three games of the regular season, has four goals and 20 assists in 59 AHL contests this season.
