  • Avalanche's Valeri Nichushkin: Returning against Blues

Nichushkin (upper body) will be back in the lineup versus St. Louis on Tuesday, Corey Masisak of The Denver Post reports.

Nichushkin returns, having missed just one game due to his upper-body problem. Prior to getting hurt, the veteran forward was stuck in a seven-game goal drought, though he chipped in five assists and 14 shots over that stretch. Nichushkin should take on a middle-six role for the club moving forward and could see time with the man advantage.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Makes 27 saves in win

Nedeljkovic stopped 27 of 29 shots in Monday's 3-2 win over the Blackhawks.

The 30-year-old goaltender is putting up solid numbers to close out the regular season, and he's won his last three starts while Yaroslav Askarov has been struggling. Thus, it's not surprising to see both goaltenders splitting the workload with San Jose still alive in the playoff race. During his three-game winning run, Nedeljkovic has posted a 1.67 GAA and an impressive .932 save percentage.

  • Lightning's Nikita Kucherov: Strikes on power play in loss

Kucherov scored a power-play goal on three shots in Monday's 4-2 loss to the Sabres.

Kucherov has three goals and five points over three games in April. The 32-year-old superstar lost some momentum after missing two games due to an illness in late March, but he still has a share of the NHL lead in points with 126 (43 goals, 83 assists) over 71 outings through Monday's action. Kucherov has added 221 shots on net, 37 power-play points, 35 hits, 48 PIM and a plus-45 rating.

  • Frank Nazar C | CHI

Blackhawks' Frank Nazar: Two points in loss Monday

Nazar recorded a power-play goal and an even-strength assist in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Sharks.

Nazar has been one of the few players not named Connor Bedard to show some kind of scoring consistency for the Blackhawks throughout the season. The 22-year-old Nazar ended a three-game goalless skid with a power-play tally in the third period, but Chicago couldn't complete the comeback. With four games left in the season, he has already established new career-high marks across the board. Nazar has 15 goals and 26 assists across 62 regular-season appearances.

  • Jack Quinn RW | BUF

    Sabres' Jack Quinn: Deposits empty-netter

Quinn scored an empty-net goal on four shots, added two PIM and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-2 win over the Lightning.

Quinn has three goals, three helpers, 31 shots on net and 10 hits over his last eight games. The 24-year-old's increased willingness to shoot the puck is a big positive. He's earned a career-best 19 goals and 50 points over 78 appearances this season, but he's shooting a career-low 10.5 percent. Quinn could improve his efficiency a bit in the future, but this level of production fits right with his usual middle-six assignment.

  • Josh Norris C | BUF

Sabres' Josh Norris: Puts away goal in win

Norris scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Monday's 4-2 win over the Lightning.

Norris ended a nine-game goal drought with his tally at 14:04 of the first period. The 26-year-old has been in the lineup for all 21 games since the Olympic break, earning 12 points, 35 shots on net and 20 PIM in that span. He's at 11 goals, 29 points, 62 shots, 26 PIM and a plus-4 rating over 40 appearances this season, mainly in a middle-six role.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Beaten three times Monday

Knight stopped 20 of 23 shots in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Sharks.

Knight was beaten twice in the second period and once more in the third, and the Blackhawks went from being up 1-0 to down 3-1 in the process. Knight has been struggling massively of late and is ending the regular season on a sour note despite being Chicago's No. 1 goaltender. He's lost his past six starts, a stretch in which he's gone 0-4-2 with a 3.40 GAA and an .897 save percentage. The Blackhawks have four more games left on the schedule, and all of them will be at home, with the next one being against the Hurricanes on Thursday.

  • Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Improving from injury

Skinner (eye) said Tuesday that he feels good and his vision has improved, according to Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports.

Skinner was struck near his eye by a puck while sitting on the bench during Saturday's game against Florida, per DK Pittsburgh Sports. Skinner's status for Thursday's game in New Jersey has yet to be determined, but if he's unavailable, Arturs Silovs will more than likely get the start, while Sergei Murashov would be the backup in that scenario.

  • Ryan Donato C | CHI

Blackhawks' Ryan Donato: Scores in Monday's loss

Donato scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 3-2 loss to the Sharks.

Donato opened the scoring for the Blackhawks with a wrister at the 9:01 mark of the first period, but the team couldn't hold on to the lead and gave up three unanswered goals that changed the flow of the game completely. Donato has 15 goals on the season, and this tally allowed him to snap a three-game pointless skid. However, with only four points in 19 games since the beginning of March, he's far from being a reliable option in most fantasy formats.

  • Wild's Zach Bogosian: Sidelined for Tuesday's game

Bogosian (lower body) will not suit up at home versus Seattle on Tuesday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.

Jeff Petry will remain in the lineup Tuesday as a result of Bogosian's absence. The 35-year-old Bogosian's next chance to play will be in a likely preview of a first-round playoff series against the Stars on Thursday.
