  • Penguins' Yegor Chinakhov: Plucks two apples Sunday

Chinakhov dished out two assists in Sunday's 5-2 win over Florida.

Chinakhov continued his recent dominance with his third multi-point game over Pittsburgh's last four outings. The 25-year-old winger's move to the Penguins stands as one of the greatest acquisitions made by a team this season. Across 40 games in Pittsburgh, Chinakhov has 17 goals and 33 points. He's earned 19 of those points over his last 17 games, and his recent success has earned him a spot as the Penguins' top-line left winger. He provides both offensive upside and decent category coverage, making him an excellent waiver-wire addition in all leagues where he isn't already rostered.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Managing upper-body issue

Lankinen has been ruled out for Tuesday's home game against the Golden Knights due to an upper-body injury, Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK reports.

Lankinen missed Saturday's game against the Mammoth due to an illness, but he's also dealing with an upper-body issue that will sideline him for a second consecutive matchup. It's not yet clear when he'll be able to return, but Jiri Patera will presumably remain with Vancouver for Tuesday's game.

  • Evander Kane LW | VAN

    Canucks' Evander Kane: Labeled day-to-day

Kane is considered day-to-day due to an upper-body injury, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports Monday.

Kane has been in and out of the lineup due to a lingering undisclosed injury, including missing two of the last three contests. In his 71 appearances this year, the 34-year-old winger has notched 13 goals, 18 assists and 171 shots on net.

  • Jets' Vladislav Namestnikov: Ready to rock

Namestnikov (lower body) will play against Seattle on Monday.

Following an 18-game absence, Namestnikov will occupy a bottom-six role and could see power-play time with the second unit against the Kraken on Monday. He has contributed seven goals, 13 points, 70 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and 71 hits across 57 appearances this season.

  • Bryan Rust RW | PIT

Penguins' Bryan Rust: One of each Sunday

Rust tallied a goal on three shots, recorded an assist and served six PIM in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Panthers.

Rust tallied the Penguins' lone goal of the third period to place his team up 5-1. Overall, the 33-year-old winger is up to 28 goals, 64 points, 181 shots on net, 33 hits and 70 blocked shots across 70 games this season. Since March 10, he has been a highly effective scorer with seven goals and 18 points over his last 14 games. He has five multi-point outings in that span and should continue to provide excellent fantasy value in most league formats while skating on Pittsburgh's top line.

  • Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Slides pair of helpers

Malkin supplied two assists and put two shots on net in Sunday's 5-2 win over Florida.

Malkin recorded a helper on both of Rickard Rakell's tallies Sunday, including his power-play goal late in the opening period. With the pair of helpers, Malkin is up to 41 assists, 59 points and 144 shots on net across 54 games this season. When healthy, the 39-year-old center has maintained his best point-per-game pace since the 2019-20 season. He has 12 points over his last eight games and should maintain high-level fantasy production for the remainder of the regular season.

  • Blackhawks' Spencer Knight: Tending twine Monday

Knight will guard the road goal against San Jose on Monday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Knight hasn't earned a win in his last five outings (0-3-2) while allowing 17 goals on 171 shots. He has posted a record of 18-22-11 this campaign with three shutouts, a 2.71 GAA and a .908 save percentage across 51 appearances. San Jose is tied for 17th in the league with 3.05 goals per game this season.

  • Predators' Jordan Oesterle: Summoned from AHL

Oesterle was recalled from AHL Milwaukee on Monday.

Oesterle hasn't appeared in an NHL game yet this season, but he will be an option for Monday's matchup against the Kings. He has notched 14 goals and 46 points in 65 AHL appearances this campaign.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: Starting against Chicago

Nedeljkovic was the first goalie off during Monday's morning skate, Max Miller of NHL.com reports, indicating that he'll start at home against Chicago.

Nedeljkovic largely struggled over the second half of March, including a stretch in which he went 0-4-1 with a 4.40 GAA and .818 save percentage over five starts. However, he's won his last two outings while allowing just three goals on 44 shots. He'll have a favorable matchup against the Blackhawks, who rank last in the NHL with 2.56 goals per game.

  • Kings' Anton Forsberg: Leaves ice first Monday

Forsberg was the first goalie off the ice Monday, Eric Stephens of The Athletic reports, indicating he'll defend the cage at home versus the Predators.

While Forsberg has reached the 30-game mark for the third straight year, he'll likely once again fail to reach 15 wins for the third time in the last four seasons. Looking ahead to the Kings' schedule, the team ends the regular season with a back-to-back, which will likely be the last time Forsberg starts this year, barring an injury to starter Darcy Kuemper.
