  • Nathan Bastian RW | DAL

Stars' Nathan Bastian: Set to miss 3-4 weeks

Head coach Glen Gulutzan said Monday that Bastian (hand) will be sidelined for 3-4 weeks, Lia Assimakopoulos of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Bastian has been sidelined since late March due to his hand injury, and his absence will likely force him to miss the start of the postseason. The 28-year-old made 36 regular-season appearances this year and recorded six goals, an assist, 85 hits, 21 PIM and seven blocked shots while averaging 8:39 of ice time.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Set to face Lightning

Luukkonen will patrol the home crease against Tampa Bay on Monday, according to Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550.

Despite allowing nine goals on 66 shots, Luukkonen has won his previous two appearances against the Lightning this campaign. Overall, he has gone 19-9-3 in 2025-26 with one shutout, a 2.56 GAA and a .909 save percentage through 32 appearances. Tampa Bay sits second in the league with 3.59 goals per game this season.

  • Radek Faksa C | DAL

Stars' Radek Faksa: Closing in on return

Faksa (lower body) won't be an option against the Flames on Tuesday but is nearing a return to action, Brien Rea of Victory+ reports.

Faksa has started skating and is ahead of his initial recovery timeline, which means he should be ready to play again in the regular season. Considering the forward went 13 games without a goal prior to his injury, few fantasy managers will be impacted by his eventual return.

  • Tim Stutzle LW | OTT

Senators' Tim Stutzle: Records goal, assist Sunday

Stutzle had an even-strength goal and a power-play assist in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.

Sttuzle continues to find ways to produce on offense for the Senators. The 24-year-old hasn't gone more than two games without cracking the scoresheet since a three-game stretch from Jan. 7-10. That elite consistency translates to him racking up 18 points (five goals, 13 helpers) in 20 games since the Olympic break. Stutzle should continue to find ample scoring opportunities due to his role as a top-six forward and power-play threat.

  • Brady Tkachuk LW | OTT

Senators' Brady Tkachuk: Scores twice vs. Carolina

Tkachuk scored two goals on five shots in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.

Tkachuk found the back of the net in the second and third periods, and this two-goal performance allowed the star winger to snap a five-game drought, in which he was limited to three assists. The 26-year-old missed considerable time between October and November due to a right thumb injury that required surgery and sidelined him for 20 games, but he's been very productive when available. Across 57 regular-season appearances in 2025-26, Tkachuk has posted 54 points (22 goals, 32 assists) and 216 shots on goal.

  • Senators' Linus Ullmark: Earns win over Hurricanes

Ullmark stopped 25 of 28 shots in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.

Ullmark had started in the first leg of a back-to-back set Saturday, allowing four goals on 23 shots in a loss to the Wild, but he bounced back admirably Sunday. Ullmark has been slightly inconsistent on a game-to-game basis lately, going 3-2-1 with a 3.38 GAA and an .890 save percentage over his last six starts. That said, he's posted a save percentage of at least. 890 four times in that span, so for the most part, he's been serviceable while holding a steady role as the Senators' No. 1 goaltender.

  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: First off Monday

Vasilevskiy was the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Eduardo A. Encina of the Tampa Bay Times reports, indicating he will defend the road net against Buffalo on Monday.

Vasilevskiy has won his last two outings while stopping 42 of the 46 shots he has faced. He has a 37-13-4 record this campaign with two shutouts, a 2.31 GAA and a .911 save percentage through 54 appearances. Buffalo ranks seventh in the league with 3.39 goals per game this season.

  • Hurricanes' Andrei Svechnikov: Pots goal in loss Sunday

Svechnikov scored a goal on four shots and added two hits in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Senators.

Svechnikov extended his point streak to five games with a goal in the final seconds of the first period, and he's up to six points (four goals, two assists) over that stretch. Furthermore, Svechnikov has been an absolute model of consistency for the Hurricanes with points in all but one of his last eight games, earning four goals and four assists in that span. The 26-year-old winger has 67 points over 77 contests on the season, and he's been a reliable scoring threat for Carolina while seeing consistent playing time as a top-six forward and power-play threat.

  • Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Extends point streak

Stankoven scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Senators.

Stankoven broke the deadlock for the Hurricanes at the 5:22 mark of the first period. The 23-year-old forward is now on a four-game point streak -- a feat he hadn't accomplished since cracking the scoresheet in five straight games from Jan. 3-10. Stankoven is having the best season of his young career in 2025-26 and is up to 38 points (18 goals, 20 assists) in 77 regular-season outings. He already established personal bests in goals while matching his career high in points and has five games left in the season to add to his totals.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Beaten five times Sunday

Andersen stopped 25 of 30 shots in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Senators. The sixth goal was an empty-netter with 57 seconds left in the game.

Andersen has been rotating with Brandon Bussi between the pipes, but the former hasn't had the best results of late after dropping three of his past four starts. Over that stretch, Andersen has posted disappointing numbers, allowing a total of 13 goals on 76 shots. It wouldn't be surprising if the timeshare between Andersen and Bussi continues until the end of the regular season, but from a results perspective, Andersen is clearly the No. 2 option to protect the Hurricanes' crease behind Bussi.
