Kevin Lankinen G | VAN
Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Dealing with illness
Lankinen was "under the weather," according to head coach Adam Foote, making the goaltender unavailable to suit up versus the Mammoth on Saturday, Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650 reports.
It's unclear if Lankinen will be ready to go Tuesday versus the Golden Knights, though the Canucks could just opt to shut him down, considering they've already secured the worst record in the league. Jiri Patera received an emergency recall from AHL Abbotsford on Saturday to cover Lankinen's absence.

Colin White C | SJ
Sharks' Colin White: Two more goals in AHL loss
White scored twice in AHL San Jose's 4-2 loss to Colorado on Saturday.
White has picked up eight goals and 11 helpers over his last 12 contests. The 29-year-old forward has 19 goals and 45 points across 42 appearances in total. White continues to be a solid AHL veteran for the Barracuda.

Jaroslav Chmelar RW | NYR
Rangers' Jaroslav Chmelar: Three points in last five games
Chmelar scored a goal Saturday in a 4-1 win over Detroit.
It was a beautiful tip that beat John Gibson to open the scoring in the first period. Chmelar has a modest five points, including four goals, in 23 games this season, but three of those points (two goals, one assist) have come in his last five games (nine shots). Chmelar has limited upside, but his massive frame (six-foot-five) makes him a dangerous net-front presence.

Bogdan Trineyev RW | WAS
Capitals' Bogdan Trineyev: Two of each Saturday
Trineyev scored twice and added two assists in AHL Hershey's 8-1 win over Hartford on Saturday.
Trineyev has earned five goals and 11 assists over his last 11 outings. The 24-year-old's late surge is encouraging after some midseason struggles. He's at career highs with 15 goals, 41 points and 128 shots on net despite playing in just 57 games so far, five fewer than in the 2024-25 regular season.

Nicolas Daws G | NJ
Devils' Nico Daws: Logs shutout for Utica
Daws posted a 21-save shutout in AHL Utica's 4-0 win over Belleville on Saturday.
Daws earned his second shutout of the year with this performance. He's had a bit of a challenging campaign, going 15-16-7 with a 2.81 GAA and an .892 save percentage over 41 appearances for the Comets. Daws has won four of his last five games and is trying to end the year strong.

Jonathan Quick G | NYR
Rangers' Jonathan Quick: Stellar in win
Quick made 31 saves in a 4-1 win over Detroit on Saturday.
The veteran netminder was stellar, especially in the third period when the Red Wings outshot the Rangers 18-6. He had a shutout in his sights, but David Perron knocked in a loose puck at the far side of the net after a wraparound attempt. Quick has won two of his last three outings. Like the Rangers, the 40-year-old has had a rough season. He's 6-16-2 with two shutouts, a 3.09 GAA and .893 save percentage.

Rangers' Adam Fox: Impressive six-game streak
Fox delivered two assists Saturday in a 4-1 win over the Red Wings.
Fox is rolling with a six-game, 10-point streak. It includes eight assists, five of which have come on the power play, and 10 shots on net. Fox has seven goals, 40 assists, 20 power-play points and 82 shots in 50 appearances this season. He is ninth in points per game (0.94) among defenders.

Gabe Perreault RW | NYR
Rangers' Gabe Perreault: Lands natural hat trick
Perreault scored three goals in a 4-1 win over the Red Wings on Saturday.
It was his first NHL career hat trick and a natural one at that. Perreault is the fourth Rangers rookie in the past three decades to record a hatty, joining Chris Kreider (2013), Derek Stepan (2010) and Jan Hlavac (2000). Perreault has 10 goals and 15 assists in 44 games this season. He has seven goals and 17 points in 20 games since the Olympic break.

Rory Kerins C | CGY
Flames' Rory Kerins: Steps up again Saturday
Kerins scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Calgary's 4-3 shootout loss to Laval on Saturday.
Kerins has seven points over his last two games. For the season, the 23-year-old is up to 21 goals and 53 points over 53 appearances. Kerins has established himself as a good AHL scorer over the last two years, though that hasn't led to steady NHL chances.

Isac Lundestrom C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Isac Lundestrom: In Saturday lineup
Lundestrom (undisclosed) will play Saturday against the Jets, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.
Lundestrom was a game-time decision ahead of Saturday's contest for the second straight time, but he will not miss any time after he left Tuesday's game early. The 26-year-old has 12 points (four goals, eight assists) in 62 games on the season. He will skate on the fourth line with Zach Aston-Reese and Miles Wood.
