Leonard has five points over three games to begin April. The forward has had a superb season in the AHL with 32 goals and 19 assists over 43 appearances. He had 36 goals and 61 points in 72 regular-season outings a year ago, but he's gotten the occasional NHL look this year due to his continued success in the AHL.

Tolopilo will start between the pipes in Saturday's home game against the Mammoth, Tyson Cole of CanucksArmy.com reports.
Tolopilo will make his second straight start after he allowed four goals on 38 shots in a 5-2 loss against the Wild on Thursday. On the season, he is 5-8-2 with a 3.57 GAA and an .887 save percentage. The 25-year-old also brings a streak of five straight games allowing three or more goals into Saturday's contest. He'll look to halt that against the Mammoth, winners of two straight games with 12 goals scored in those outings.

Following a two-game absence, Kane will replace Curtis Douglas in Saturday's lineup against the Mammoth. The 34-year-old Kane has 13 goals, 31 points, 170 shots on net, 110 hits and 92 PIM across 70 outings this season.

Brzustewicz signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Kings on Saturday.
The deal will begin in 2026-27, and Brzustewicz will join AHL Ontario on a professional tryout agreement for the remainder of the season. The 19-year-old registered 19 goals and 54 points in 59 games this campaign for OHL London. He was picked with the 31st selection in the 2025 NHL Draft by the Kings.
