  • Ivan Ivan C | COL

Avalanche's Ivan Ivan: Returns to AHL

Ivan was reassigned to AHL Colorado on Friday.

Ivan got into two games with the Avalanche during this stint in the NHL, but he didn't earn a point. The team's road trip continues against the Capitals on Sunday, and it's unclear if Ivan will be recalled prior to that contest, though the Avalanche could opt to add a different forward if none of their injured players are ready to return.

  • Niko Mikkola D | FLA

Panthers' Niko Mikkola: Expected to miss time

Mikkola sustained an apparent left knee injury Friday versus the Flames, and he is expected to miss time pending further evaluation, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.

Mikkola was hurt in the third period after taking contact to his knee. The Panthers have already been rotating players out of the lineup, so if this injury is even of moderate severity, the 29-year-old defenseman could get shut down. Donovan Sebrango figures to receive steadier playing time in the event Mikkola is sidelined for most or all of the rest of the season.

  • Blackhawks' Louis Crevier: Expected to travel next week

Crevier (undisclosed) is unlikely to play Sunday versus the Predators, but he is expected to be on the Blackhawks' road trip, which starts Tuesday versus the Islanders, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.

Crevier looks set to miss a second game, but he could be back in less than a week. The 24-year-old defenseman will probably handle a bottom-four role once he's cleared to return. In his absence, Ethan Del Mastro should continue to play regularly.

  • Blackhawks' Andrew Mangiapane: May join team during trip

Mangiapane (undisclosed) is expected to miss the start of the Blackhawks' upcoming four-game road trip, which starts Tuesday versus the Islanders, Mark Lazerus of The Athletic reports.

Mangiapane's timeline suggests he'll miss at least two more games after being ruled out Friday versus the Avalanche. His absence will keep the door open for Sam Lafferty and Landon Slaggert to hold onto fourth-line roles for now.

  • Lightning's Conor Geekie: Tallies twice for Syracuse

Geekie scored two goals in AHL Syracuse's 5-3 win over Rochester on Friday.

Geekie picked up where he left off in the AHL after a stint with the Lightning in March. At the AHL level, he has three goals and five assists during a five-game point streak. The talented forward has 16 goals, 54 points and a plus-13 rating across 49 appearances for the Crunch this year, but he's added just two assists in 11 outings with the Lightning.

  • Devils' Angus Crookshank: Two goals in AHL loss

Crookshank scored twice in AHL Utica's 4-3 loss to Providence on Friday.

Crookshank has four goals and three assists during a four-game point streak. He's up to 19 goals, 30 points, 131 shots on net and a minus-16 rating over 49 appearances. Crookshank has played fairly well this season, but he had topped the 40-point mark in each of the previous three campaigns when he was with Belleville in the Senators' organization.

  • Bruins' Victor Soderstrom: Three points in AHL win

Soderstrom scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Providence's 4-3 win over Utica on Friday.

Soderstrom has five points over his last four games. He's gotten on the scoresheet in nine of his last 15 outings to show some consistency late in the campaign. Overall, Soderstrom has eight goals, 27 points, 79 shots on net and a plus-9 rating across 48 appearances.

  • Brady Martin C | NSH

Predators' Brady Martin: Tallies twice in OHL win

Martin scored two goals in OHL Sault Ste. Marie's 5-1 win over Saginaw on Friday.

Martin missed a couple of months earlier in the season and has had some trouble getting his offense back on track. He has just three goals and one assist over eight outings in March. Despite the late slump, he's at eight goals and 23 points through 23 contests this season. The Nashville prospect will likely compete for a spot in the NHL to begin 2026-27.

  • Adam Benak C | MIN

Wild's Adam Benak: Stays hot in OHL win

Benak scored a goal and added three assists in OHL Brantford's 6-5 win over North Bay on Friday.

Benak has seven points over his last two outings to pick up the pace late in the season. He's up to 28 goals, 49 assists and a plus-23 rating through 47 appearances this season. Benak has had no trouble adjusting to the North American game and should help Brantford push for a deep playoff run.

  • Senators' Lucas Beckman: Posts sixth shutout of season

Beckman recorded a 19-save shutout in QMJHL Chicoutimi's 1-0 overtime win over Quebec on Friday.

Beckman is up to six shutouts this season and improved to 16-15-3 with a 2.62 GAA and a .916 save percentage over 37 appearances. He's earned four of his shutouts in 14 outings with Chicoutimi after a midseason trade from Baie-Comeau. The Senators prospect is years away from being an NHL candidate, but he has looked good behind a strong team lately.
