Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Drawing start against Carolina

Dobes will occupy the home crease Tuesday against the Hurricanes, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

Dobes has allowed two goals or less in each of his last four appearances, a span in which he's stopped 86 of 94 shots (.915 save percentage) while going 2-2-0. The 24-year-old is sporting a 22-8-4 record, 2.91 GAA and .893 save percentage through 34 outings in 2025-26. Dobes has a tough test Tuesday against a Carolina squad that sits fourth in the league with 3.50 goals per game this season.

  • Dan Vladar G | PHI

Flyers' Dan Vladar: Set to face Columbus

Vladar was the first netminder off at the morning skate, according to Jordan Hall of NBC Sports Philadelphia, which indicates he will be in goal against the Blue Jackets on Tuesday.

Vladar has posted stellar results lately -- he's 3-0-1 with a 1.44 GAA and a .946 save percentage over his last four appearances. That lone defeat during that stretch did come against the Blue Jackets, though, a game in which Vladar was solid, as he turned aside 27 of 28 shots in a 2-1 shootout loss. Vladar also faced Columbus on Jan. 28, allowing four goals on 30 shots in a 5-3 loss.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Tending twine against Seattle

Bobrovsky will be between the home pipes versus the Kraken on Tuesday.

Bobrovsky bounced back in Edmonton on Thursday with a 21-save shutout after allowing five goals on 22 shots during a loss in Vancouver last Tuesday. The Russian netminder is 25-20-1 with a 3.00 GAA and an .879 save percentage through 47 appearances this season. As for the Kraken, they have scored a total of just five goals during their active three-game losing streak.

  • Islanders' David Rittich: First off Tuesday

Rittich is set to start at home against the Blackhawks on Tuesday, per Andrew Gross of Newsday.

Rittich is 2-1-0 with a 3.60 GAA and an .883 save percentage over four appearances in March. The veteran netminder has a favorable matchup Tuesday against a Chicago team that is 13-15-6 on the road this season. Chicago has also generated 2.57 goals per game this season, which is the third-worst mark in the NHL.

  • Noah Gregor C | FLA

Panthers' Noah Gregor: Called up Tuesday

Gregor was recalled from AHL Charlotte on Tuesday.

Gregor has produced 11 goals, 17 points and a plus-7 rating over 25 appearances in the minors this season. He also has one goal and two helpers across 24 outings with Florida in 2025-26. The Panthers are dealing with several injuries up front, so Gregor could play with the big club against Seattle on Tuesday for the first time since Jan. 8 in Montreal.

  • Ville Koivunen RW | PIT

Penguins' Ville Koivunen: Back up with big club

Koivunen was recalled from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Tuesday.

Koivunen is back up with the big club as a result of Evgeni Malkin (upper body) being unavailable against the Avalanche on Tuesday. Koivunen is poised to skate in a bottom-six role against the Avs, as he worked on the third line with Ben Kindel and Justin Brazeau during Tuesday's morning skate.

  • Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Dealing with UBI

Malkin will not play against the Avalanche on Tuesday due to an upper-body injury and is day-to-day.

Justin Brazeau and Anthony Mantha are candidates to move into a top-six role against Colorado, while Ville Koivunen was brought up from the minors Tuesday to help offset Malkin's absence. The 39-year-old Malkin's next opportunity to suit up will be in Ottawa on Thursday. The veteran forward has banked 15 goals, 52 points and a plus-12 rating across 50 appearances in 2025-26.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Gets little help in loss

Shesterkin stopped 31 shots in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Senators.

The Rangers' offense simply no-showed this one, as James Reimer only had to face nine shots in the other crease. Shesterkin got stuck with his third straight loss as a result despite a strong performance, and through 10 starts since the Olympic break, he's now 5-3-2 with a 2.88 GAA and .910 save percentage.

  • Senators' Carter Yakemchuk: Summoned from minors

Yakemchuk was recalled from AHL Belleville on Tuesday.

Thomas Chabot (right arm) and Lassi Thomson (lower body) were injured in Monday's 2-1 win over the Rangers, which necessitated Yakemchuk as well as Jorian Donovan being brought up from the minors. The 20-year-old Yakemchuk has yet to make his NHL debut but was the No. 7 overall pick in 2024. With Belleville this season, the right-shot blueliner has accounted for 10 goals, 36 points and a minus-30 rating over 50 appearances.

  • Warren Foegele LW | OTT

Senators' Warren Foegele: Pots game-winner Monday

Foegele scored the game-winning goal in Monday's 2-1 victory over the Rangers.

The fourth-line grinder has been a shocking source of offense since being acquired from the Kings. Foegele has found the back of the net in three straight games, and through nine contests as a Senator he's scored five goals -- with three of them being game-winners.
